isitafox
I agree, 40k has so much potential. I've seen a cgi film that was made that was pretty good for what it was, I also remember a short film made for one of the events at Birmingham NEC/NIA(?) when I was into it years ago (1994ish) that was cool but was only about 10mins long. Rich J
The death of Christiano Ronaldo over the course of 2 hours would make a great film right now.
forteh
I agree, 40k has so much potential. Twas for the golden daemon awards iirc, I was there around that time I reckon 40k could have potential but it would have to be based on a proper book, from what Ive heard (not seen it myself, warned away before I got round to watching it) the recent ultramarine 40k cgi film was utter wank, the intro animation/cutscenes on dawn of war 2 were infinitely better! The problem with 40k is to involve all the history and back story into one film without confusing the hell out of people who dont already know it would be potentially very messy; that said a saga of films starting from the spread of the imperial empire, through the horus heresy and introducing various races/factions/scenarios could be amazing e.g: an insidious genestealer cult being cleared out by local imperial guard could pretty quickly develope into a full on tyranid hive fleet invasion with the inquisition brought in to try to contain it ** A space hulk scenario would also be cool to see played out on the big screen, still waiting for a decent tactical pc game version of it! Sorry, going off in my own little nerd world there :$ **naturally the tyranid invasion should succeed and the world be lost Edited June 17, 2012 by forteh
Dwarf Shortage
A proper sequel to Ong Bak, Crysis games would make decent films, anything with Kate Beckinsale and Scarlett Johansson in it.
