315r
Fished from the bottom of swamp!!! I'm interested in this bike and I like to know some opinions about it. Why Tarty don't have in stock? Thanks all!! Geo: 1080 / 380 / +45 / 71.5° More info about the bike here: http://max15.hosteur...emart&Itemid=54 Edited October 11, 2012 by 315r
Andeee
A chap called "Jigga" on here owns one as he bought it off Damon . I had a ride on it on one group ride with him felt nice and controlled on the back wheel but seemed rather short compared to the likes of my v2 curve. This is his. (Picture from Hull trials facebook album) Why Tarty don't have in stock? There is only a few in this country which were brought in for Damon direct from Bruno at Ozonys. Whether Tarty will stock them or not thats a mystery lol Edited October 11, 2012 by Andeee
Rusevelt
Shame Damon Watson never got to ride this properly before his reoccurring knee problems started playing havoc with his riding. Bike looks pretty good though.
315r
Agree with Rusevelt, maybe this bike fits better than curve to Damon for street ridding. But in ozonys prefer to promote the curve for some reason. I'ts and "old" geo? Andeee: Did you feel the bike short? It's 1080, is not really short, maybe BB height makes feel shorter than really is? Maybe the stem? I'll fit the bike with 125mm 25º stem, hope that it works well.. Other thoughts?
Andeee
It still felt short compared to the likes of mine. I suppose the b.b will make the difference. I don't even know what the geo is of mine haha but i love it. 130x25 stem seem to suit well for stock i still keep humming n arring about a 150 x 30. ChrisTrials2012
They are lovely frames, well built and great design, but they are fairly old school and at the price you're paying(close to 550 pounds) you're better off getting yourself a newer style of bike. I have one and it just doesn't seem to help on any moves to be honest, taps are annoying cause the HA seems to be too forward, and the wheelbase is a bit short for backwheel stuff to be great, plus the BB height makes it a strain on the shoulders/arm/chest region. If Damon was riding it, it would work, but that's because he's a monster.

Thanks ChrisTrials2012, the idea is that my bike is yaabaa 1499 with only +30 and 1080mm, I feel comfortable with it but I'm searching for something better and newer without change a lot or buy a mega long bike with super high BB. And this seems that it's pretty closer to that I want. The other think is that I'm quite short and and long 26 bikes fits me horrible... Bikes like Fans have a really similar geo and everybody said that ride amazing... Anyway, in this case, which frame do you recommend me? Thanks! I would go for something along the lines of a Zoo Piranha or a Neon Bow, as they're both middling in terms of BB, and not overly long wheelbase. The Zoo is stronger but the Bow is lighter, and the neons styling is nice on the eyes
Rebelistic
I really liked my V3 Cannibal (very similar geo to the new one). But then I'm not a fan of modern geo.

Could be that V3 have different geo than V4? V3 1075mm, 378mm, +40mm, 71,5º V4 1080mm, 380mm, +45mm, 71.5° ???? I seem to remember they had a really, really high price tag, although I may be getting mixed up... More or less same as curve here in Spain... Andeee
I seem to remember they had a really, really high price tag, although I may be getting mixed up... They did. It was £600-£700 alone for a frame. To be fair when i got offered a full build (Near new only a few weeks old) on bonz spec for £650 i wish i took the offer! Seem like in first versions happens that you say but in last ones this problems have been fixed. http://www.tribalzine.com/?Crash-Test-of-the-Ozonys-Cannibal thanks again! It'll be grand for the next while, til I get a more modern frame. I had another look at the geo and it seemed good on the newer ones

max-t
Why is it that people solely go on the BB height and wheelbase of a bike to how 'good' it rides. There have been many frames built over the years that have had an awesome feel without these extreme lengths and heights.
