BradJohnson
Spray the disc and pads with muc off disc break cleaner set on fire and wipe with a CLEAN cloth!
Aii_Aitch
can you oven the disc as well, or would it be better to clean the disc with meths? I take it muc off stuff is just another agent that does the same thing?
RobinJI
Spray the disc and pads with muc off disc break cleaner set on fire and wipe with a CLEAN cloth! This, use disc brake cleaner, and burn it off.

Aii_Aitch
ah, didn't work then. new pads it is. my rotor should be fine as long as i clean it with muc-off or meths, right?
bing
use solvent degreaser, give it a right good blathering and set it on fire. should burn all the shite off the surface. then get a piece of 400 grit sand paper, use a flat surface and do a wax on wax off motion to just sort the braking area out. then install and bed in
Revolver
Duh, open the bleed hole and squeeze the lever and it'll come right out. That advice in the other thread to burn the oil off with meths was sound, do that.
Dave Sutton
Used a blowtorch and brake cleaner, all good and works amazing now
