Joe@Onza
Hi all, Please ignore the stem on the Genesis as the production model will come with the correct 180mm stem. They have also set the bars up in the far east not quite right but I'm sure those that saw them in the flesh at Fort Bill last weekend will have liked them. Genesis 20" 1000 +80 350 Weight TBA but around 8.8KG RRP £999 Vox 1010 +70 350 Weight TBA but around 9.4KG RRP £749.99 Both available to buy August the 3rd.

CalRobbo341
The Vox reminds me of the sting, a kids trial bike, younger ages, just a top end one if you are a fast learner.
Dave Anscombe
Cant belive how well the genesis looks! Onza you hit the jackpot! does anyone else think silver forks 4tmfw?
SamKidney
The graphics on the Vox "cheapen" the look of an otherwise great looking frame imo. Genesis is bang on the money though
Sponge
Good to see the '05 T-Rex style dowtube/headtube gusset on both frames! Curious though, why the switch back to internal headtube? The regular style headtube with steel rings looked a lot cleaner 'n just generally nicer, and seemed more than worthy of taking bumps? Joe@Onza
Personally I prefer the looks of the internal headtube. Where the forks blend into the frame is a nice to touch imo. Also a cheap internal headset is about 70 grams lighter then a expensive external headset.
weirdoku
These are the first Onza full builds that I actually like, I personally prefer the genesis in the chrome though.
Joe@Onza
That woull be the Vox.
Mark W
Also a cheap internal headset is about 70 grams lighter then a expensive external headset. Which 'cheap internal headset' would that be? We've got a couple of 'cheaper' internal headsets but they all seem to be around 120-130g or so, whereas something like the Echo SL is 95g... The new bikes do look cool though. The actual aesthetics of the bikes have come on massively in the past few years though, so kudos to that The only thing that seemed strange to me from those two was the use of 4-bolt/disc forks on a bike which has a disc only frame, but I guess if the forks are also being sold as an aftermarket model that kind of makes sense. JamieWilliams
Yes Joe Love them both, Top Job But the Genesis is amazing Can't wait to have one
BradJohnson
Will the frames be available seperatly ? Wouldn't mine building a Vox minus the graphics!
Joe@Onza
Mark the point I was making is that internal headsets we buy have a better money to weight ratio. Your right about the forks, they will be available after market so we made them dual mounts where as the better more expensive forks on the genesis will be Maggie only. Frames and forks will available aftermaket too. Weights and price's will available in August. Gen forks have lasted seddon 10 months so far. Usually he breaks forks on a 3 month basis. So far so good.
weirdoku
That woull be the Vox. I meant I would like the genesis in chrome finish.
SamKidney
MIght be an idea, before mass production of the silver forks, to maybe switch the mounts to rear facing? I think Im right in saying almost everyone prefers rear facing mounts on their forks. Just looks cleaner, and in my experience, works better too.
harmertrials
With Sam on this one. Reverse mount works so much better. Maguras always perform better in reverse whereas vees like being on the front. I agree with some comments on the vox's graphics, if you could tone them down it'd be a beautiful bike

Joe@Onza
Too late but good idea. Banked for future on that model. Seeing the bike in the flesh may change you mind a little about the graphics. They are single colour and it is a pretty powerful with that much chrome, It needed breaking a up a little when we drew it and I gotta say it was the right idea. craigjames
Was going to say, the graphics are pretty understated and simple, whilst the chrome is pretty intense. Think it breaks it up nicely. Saw James Davies's genesis bike last weekend and it looks awesome!
