bagre15
I'm riding a because simple with a 150mmx25º stem combined with an echo SL high riser bars. I know that this is the most "famous" stem size for a 24" trials bike, but I can't get used to it, it feels to long for me. I feel too stretched on the bike and it's really hard to pull manuals and bunnyhops, since I'm 1,68 m tall and came from a mod background So I'm thinking of getting a new stem My choices are: 130mm*38º 125mm*25º 120mm*20º Has anybody tried these stems in a 24" bike? Are they any good?
craigjames
I would say the most popular stem I've seen on 24" trials bikes is 150 x 30 Tryall/Rockman stem, but with lower bars than yours. However that's just personal preference. You're only 3" shorter than me and I a TryAll stem, TryAll carbon bars with only a 10mm stacker; so a fairly low set up. It certainly works for me and I'm only 1.75m. Try Different bar angles and spacers under the stem, it might just be you getting used to a new frame and new geometry.
