SamKidney
It would work, just not a common combo.
Kieran Morrison
Pretty sure someone on here a while back did that and it looks pretty stupid. Don't know if it works well but would be cool to try
dann2707
That polish dude who came over to England ran that combo.
the mysterious leemur
I just mean like would I look like an utter idiot , I don't really use the front brake other than on-off stuff like front to backs ect and lowers my shopping basket £40 might do it. If anybody has tried a similar combo input would be great.

Jake.
Front hs33, rear disk... That's like dividing by zero. Edited June 10, 2012 by JMCD
the mysterious leemur
Front hs33, rear disk... That's like dividing by zero. Why would that be ? For my style it may work well and if it doesn't I'll sell it or stick it on a different bike. I am aware this is the complete opposite of the norm but I'm not really normal myself so it fits... Jake.
It's just not a good setup from a lot of peoples point of few. May as well go dual disk if you've got disk on rear, rear hs33 is for bite hence why it's so popular on rear, disk has more modulation but can still hold if it's a good setup. If you can, get hs33 rear as well, or disk on front.

Skoze
Why are you still living in 2003? It kinda sucked then and i can guarantee it won't be much better now - just go dual disc. Honking front brakes are not the way forward...
Andeee
That polish dude who came over to England ran that combo. Corel.. Yeah it was only for a few days I lent him the Maggie as he killed his hope lol. It does seem a opposite combo. Bit like running a front hs33 n a rear vee :L Edited June 10, 2012 by Andeee
the mysterious leemur
Back to dual disk it is , Hope Trial Zone it is! If this one leaks like my evo did ...
Jamie_Trials
I had it a few years back, it works of course, depends where you want modulation. It's all I could afford at the time so I didn't have much of a choice. Try it
CalRobbo341
I have been tempted to try this too, my frame is disc only, my forks are 4 bolt only and I have a front magura. The rim is a dead grind, so it is suprisingly quiet, I dont have a rear brake but I am reaaaaally tempted to try it, haven't had brakes for 4 months-ish, so I would love to give it a try and see how much I can push my self, then also if I liked having brakes again, I could sell my forks and my magura to get disc forks and a front disc, I really don't understand discs though, I know avid cable discs are good on the front but nobody runs a cable disc on the rear, hopes are out of my price range, and I dont like all the reviews on echo's, any suggestions for me? TROYston
As Jeremy Kyle once said "try it or youll never know" He also keeps on saying 'Goodnight Vienna'. I want to stab him now. On topic, if it works, nothing wrong there? Brakes a brake. Edited June 11, 2012 by TROYston
