bikeperson45
So how's people's exams going? I've got a psychology one tomorrow and feeling kind of confident, I think my main problem is trying to answer what they're actually asking. Then have History the next day which hasn't been going very well at all. These are A2s by the way. And revision's proving practically impossible at this stage, I thought I'd be more motivated the day before an important exam but here I am procrastinating making topics... TrialsIsHard
I hear you, have got 2 history GCSE's next week, and revision is killing me! I really wanna do well, but it's got to the point where I'm thinking 'I may as well give up'.. The same as you, I ended up on TF!
Duncy H
I've got 5 exams to go, all a2, physics maths and biology. Kind of got a bit bored of college and lost motivation and left revision to the last minute. Really hope i pull my finger out for them as best as can be. Already passed them all anyway, it can only go up from here i suppose.

I always pretend to myself that I am getting a lot of work done and TFs my 'break' Hate history, I did Nazi's in GCSE and now I'm doing them again. Sick to death of Nazis all the time. I'm doing a gap year so glad I don't have that pressure as well. My finger needs pulled out as well, problem is it's so far wedged up there by the time get it out there'll be no time to revise so.... Duncy H
No I don't have any offers cause i never really looked. I knew i'd want at least a year out so thought i'd look into it later if i wanted. I have a job i enjoy with decent pay that i got this year so never really had an aim as to what i needed. What i would like to get is B in physics and maths and E/D in bio but i reckon I'll likely get C C E now :/

So 1 good 1 bad lol Congrats on the 83 buddy was so weird seeing you in Subway the other day too! Aha yeah, funnily enough every time anyone asks why I'm on trials forum not revising I'm 'on my break' Tell me about it, and the Cold war! Urgh. The other history one I have is the retake on Russia and USA, which is equally as uninteresting.. My English teach sat me down and said 'You could get an A* in this if you work hard, you just need to get 120 marks', which was surprising for me considering my AS grade. Then she told me the exam's out of 120, optimistic woman. I was only planning on getting 80 or so maximum... The other history one I have is the retake on Russia and USA, which is equally as uninteresting.. I did the same course as you then. Only part I liked in Russia was Rasputin (if this is the same time period). When I went to sixth form I did Russia again at AS, so really I've been studying the same stuff for the past 4 years. Good luck with them all though

Skoze
Finishing up my UAL Foundation Art + Design course tomorrow, just going through my sketchbooks ready for final hand in - all set up for my exhibition and just doing all the boring behind the scenes stuff now to actually back it up and get my stuff up to scratch. Hoping to get a merit, think i should get that alright. Can't wait to get down to Brighton come september though!
bikeperson45
Had Psychology today which didn't go great or terribly, just kind of average but every other time I've felt that I do worse then I think. History tomorrow, having exams day after day sucks, I need at least a week recovery time.
Duncy H
Had physics today and died a little inside.
RobinJI
I just got the results back for my final exams at uni. I was expecting to scrap passes in 2 of them, and do alright in the last one. Turns out I did so well in them that it managed to knock my overall grade up high enough that I've managed a 1st! So happy right now, makes it all worth while having missed out on a 1st in my foundation degree by 2%!
Ash-Kennard
had 2 70% of module exams. solid mechanics and thermofluids. been waiting on the results for about 6 weeks now. just want to know!
bikeperson45
I'm desperate to know my results from me exam this morning, have no idea how it went. Had to do two essays one with sources one without. Looked at the one without and would have been a perfect question but it was too specific year wise for me to do it. So rushed into the source one then 5 minutes in realised I'd forgotten that I actually need to read and use the sources, so what I had done was irrelevant. Ended up writing a fair amount, more than usual but finished pretty early. I feel like I've either done alright on it or pretty badly. TrialsIsHard
Had biology and history today, biology was hard but I wasn't the only one who said that so maybe I've done alright.. Maybe not also History I got an almost ideal set of questions meaning the revision I did was totally applicable to the exam, I love it when that happens! My god am I glad I have no more exams till 9:00 tomorrow!
bikeperson45
My history was the opposite, didn't have to even mention about 2 thirds of the time frame I revised, feel like i wasted my time learning it.
TrialsIsHard
That happened to me in physics a few weeks ago, was properly unhappy that none of it came up! I guess it's just what they ask for on the day though
