Looking good, deffo need to cut them bash mounts off though. And don't bother with brakes either! All 3? Or just the downtube one? Do you think I could use an angle grinder to get it smooth faster than a file, the file I have is on its last couple of hours. And I just though maybe try how high I can go with brakes, I could never really do big sidehops with brakes bbut now without, I can! Plus I really mis being able to gap far. EDIT - I can't really do much now, rain is on/off every so often so I am not trusting myself to use an angle grinder in the wet, and cba using a hand saw :L Guess I could pump the tubes up, think I may raw the cranks now.. isitafox
I personally would do all 3, and unless you want it looking like there was never a mount there a grinder will be fine, not like it's on show all the time.
CalRobbo341
Taking it's time, will do the back of them some other day, probably saturday? Idk yet.
isitafox
Crack the pedals and freewheel bits off and dunk them in a washbasin with a s**tload of caustic soda in. Took me about 2-3 mins to get the blue off my echo urbans!
CalRobbo341
I honestly don't think it's worth it aha, I mean 1. I have nothing else to do, well college work but yeah, 2. I dont have a freewheel tool. 3. The pedals are helicoiled into the cranks so would rather keep the bond since it has been done (never taken them off!) Ahahah, plus that would mean me going out to buy some stuff...

Need to visit my Dad to get it up and running! BB, chain and headset fitting! EDIT - Finished the cranks, kind of, not doing the backs, I mean i'm not fussed, Tim Minchin helped me get through them nicely! CalRobbo341
Went to my dads, everything fitted, still don't know if I want stickers / what to get, so just put a carbon one on the headtube, polished the cranks and frame a little there also, brought the polishing stuff back to mine so there is another wee job to be done. Rode it back from my dads to mine (15 mins) feels odd, think because of the 70+ bb, that im not used to, need to let a tad bit of air out the tires and adjust my bars accordingly, will get more pictures up when I am ready but other than that, fin. PS - I am not going to Radfest. .
CalRobbo341
More pictures, dad must have put the carbon on the cranks whilst I wasn't looking.. Also, a rabbit stole the focus from the cranks :L Organising a rear brake so will see where it goes from now! Also the only standard stuff on the bike, that I haven't modified is the freewheel, chain tensioning system and the headset, including top cap!

CalRobbo341
It's just a sticker, headtube or cranks?
