Dave Sutton
any ideas?
dann2707
Sandpaper or wet and dry paper. Start with the coarsest and work your way down the finer grade. Should leave you with a super smooth rim.
N.Wood
If you just want quick and sorta ok results a couple pad-sized bits of paper in between your pads and rim and ride around for a bit works.

Carlperkins
i did this to my front wheel, used a file to get rid of the worst of it, then went from 200 grit paper all the way up to 1500 wet-n-dry, then use autosol on a drill-buffing wheel if you want a chrome rim. done.. xTommyTickles92
Do exactly what Dan said, I went from the coarsest to the finest on one of my rims and it is perfectly smooth. Also from a distance you can't even tell it's had a grind!
