murph82
anyone got any tips? bled them a couple of days ago after changing the piston seal and they just don't seem firm enough or to travel enough for the length of the lever stroke? I bled as directed from the slave, had 3 threads showing at the lever, as far as I know i've done it right, not water bleeding before anyone suggests it! Luke Dunstan
Sounds like you have air in the system. I'd recommend a water bleed, improves the feel of the lever pull massively.
Revolver
YOu didn't mention if you undid the TPA or not, that affects it.
williams
Yupp, undid TPA is important. And also in what order did you close the system in when you where done you bleed? I did the mistake to tighten the 3 threads before turn in the plug. Try to first turn in the plug then tighten the 3 threads. But I HIGLY HIGHY recommend a water bleed, it's so much better. Pugson
Why would u recommend a water bleed when previous threads have stated problems with pistons absorbing water? I would recommend not using water at all.
N.Wood
I guess because its (in mine and countless other's opinions) a much better fluid. I've been running it for years and its f**ked up exactly zero of my brakes. If you ride comps or lots of longish natural lines its handy as you're much less prone to arm pump.

murph82
to be honest with the 4 finger blade it's still a very light stroke so I'd rather use mag Blood.it's what they are designed to use and the stroke feels fine so No matter. Yes, in the end i did put the bung in. At this point i would like to big up tarty for their advice on the phone and mail a used nappy to magura uk. The person who designed the website might want to make it easier to navigate, then i wouldn't have to call out the grumpy Twat you ring up for direction to a user manual download and repeatedly says 'it's in products somewhere'. F'in useless!
