TrialsIsHard
Sean Watson did something a lot like this with his favourite hat didn't he? Not sure how paper-mache would stand up to a decent hit though?

Mark W
Wait until it rains! Ali coated his in PVA so it's reasonably waterproof. He has to do demos and shit in the rain and it's held up He also rags it around in the back of his van and it's held up pretty well, so yeah, as long as you get a good coating of PVA to toughen up the exterior it seems to last.
Revolver
PVA's water soluble, isn't it? So if it gets dead wet it'll liquify and be a mess.
SamKidney
Maybe an idea would to be to use some kind of clear coat laquer following the PVA layers? Would Imagine it would be a tad more weather resistant.
BradJohnson
It's all coated up in PVA, so should be fine.
