Deed Of The Day, + Radfest!

The story of my good deed of the day, just though I would share it with y'alll :shades:

Casually riding around..on my tod, just in a local pub car park and a person is indicating to turn into the car park, but not close enough to 'legally' turn in. Clearly had his indicator on, the a 18ish year old lad revs his scooter to try and beat round the traffic as there are lights just by the car park, I'm presuming he wanted to beat the lighs, thus by overtaking everyone in the outside lane, lights go green car wanting to turn, turns scooter lands onto his arse swearing at the man in the car and then 'scoots :$' off in a hurry, hoping no one saw it..I guess. Me on the other hand texting at the time, got few digits of his lisence plate, noted it down and a few minutes later he is ragging it round the corner to see what damage he done, also I caught the last few digits :D The man checks his car, quite a large dent on the front right door, and no wing mirror, I gave him my number as a witness to back him up, I feel heroic..not that I should  Cleared up the police know about it and I haven't a slightest clue what will happen... Then while going back to my house, same lights to cross over, I see five cars in a row, all backed up into each other, two police and one ambulance, I didn't see any of this as I wasn't right next to it :/ Again not such a good story but I feel good about myself.

And also does anyone think I should head down to Radfest? I mean I have the money for it, I can obtain a tent, I just don't think it will be right for me, getting there will take a super long time, will be on my own as hardly anyone I know (personally) is going.. So yeah, suggestions?

Cheers! >_<

Thats a verrrry good point..if I don't do it..I may regret it!

Texting while driving aint cool kids, consider your good deed undone by your foolishness.

And yes..I was riding.. \/\/\/\/\/

I guess he was riding?

THIS!

Also just got a new phone..spoilt, it was time for a new contract + my blackberry was battered.. So just sent my phone off then which hopefully it said it will get me £35, enough for a ticket! Also will there be any left?!

EDIT - I don't think my mum trusts me to get the train down there..on my own :$ So would anyone willingly get the train down with me, or give me a lift down..obv will pay for fuel etc if in a car. Cheers!

Stupid kids.

Anyhow. If you're shy with yourself and your riding you may have a lesser time. But if you're happy to talk and ride with anyone, come for sure. There will be some people who don't like to talk to strangers but most people are keen to socialise and session. Often if i'm riding i can be a one worded replier, but that's cause i like to ride, allot :P

Ditto to the riding alot! Was speaking to my Dad about it earlier and he said he may be going down that area, St Albans, so he said that I could like go Radfest and then get a lift back up to Liverpoool, then a train home! Need to put money in my account, will buy a ticket throughout the next few days, and also maybe on a new frame! Looking forward to it now!

If you're looking to make your own way back up north after radfest I can give you a lift up as far as Lichfield (just north of birmingham), the west coast mainline runs through here so you should be able to get up to mersyside without too much hassle and will save you a chunk of train money :)

edit: train from Lichfield Trent Valley to Liverpool Lime Street takes 1:30 with 1 change at Stafford.

Appreciate the offer, but I have it all planned out, Getting to St Albans on Wednesday, spending the night at my cousins place, getting a lift to Radfest on Friday, earlyish, camping, fun on bikes, food, friends, then getting picked up at Radfest late Sunday, going back to my cousins and then getting a lift off of my dad to my house, 'tis all sorted, just need the money to process..hopefully today!
