forteh Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 I believe he was poking fun at americans for still using old imperial sizes when the rest of the world uses metric, the whole f**k yeah is from team america. Have a look for any damage to the lockring around the split in it, if it is burred then the ring may not be clamping tight enough on the shaft. If it's the screw coming undone and a dab of loctite doesn't stop it loosening then it's possible the threads are too worn and the lockring needs replacing. Skoze Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 Some are the mad american size quoted above, some are 3.5mm or there about (the replacement one i got was) The first one i had ended up in two pieces somehow, undo it, take the whole thing off, check it's ok, put it back on, profit.
