Jake.
Out of curiosity, why is there a chainstay protector on the forks?
TheLeroyHUK
Protect them for failed side hops? Good idea to be honest
Jake.
But if he's sidehopping that way, the chainstay protector he uses won't be of any use?
dann2707
What? How does that work JMCD lol
Jake.
Well, he's got a chainstay protector on the left fork blade not on the right... When I do a sidehop and fail, it's the chainstay protector I bash, and the cranks, the forks get scratched. If the chainstay protector is on the side of the bike when he does a sidehop the chainstay will get scratches/dents but the fork won't be as badly damaged. Oh f**k, just remembered people use the chainstay protector to protect it from the chain rattle. I always thought of it as being there to protect from sidehops... Nevermind, hahaa. Sorry nice bike anyway. Might be getting a Limey myself soon. Edited May 29, 2012 by JMCD

SamKidney
How did you manage to run that hub in the limey frame with a disc? I tried with my Bros limey and the disc hits the frame, even with a spacer in there too.

I tried with my Bros limey and the disc hits the frame, even with a spacer in there too. Cut down the spacer and run the wheel slightly off center, add an extra spacer on the caliper it's self so it lines up with the disc, problem solved and no disc rub. BradJohnson
Put the discs on just for the picture, as i've sold them. So after the picture the maggie went on. New disc brakes are on there way though.

Lewis Gething
Nice bike and cool paint job. Still prefer the old gold Limeys but hey. How come it is 9.5kg? That seems heavy considering the build.
