24" Inspired Steed

So, I'm not usually one that holds a great deal of concern about how my bike looks. However, I've been back riding for nearly two years now and I recognise that it's worth using whatever psychological prop you can to maintain your enthusiasm for riding. Hence I took my Inspired 4play, Inspired Team forks and Inspired bars to a local powder coater. The choice of colour is motivated by my Fly Pantera bmx from years ago.

A big thanks to Inspired for making awesome parts that actually endure and aid my riding. Riding would be problematic for me without them.

I recommend the powder coaters. Their base rate is £50 and that seemingly includes any additional parts. I could have added, wheels, cranks et.c without any surplus. Check out ABC enamelling in Nailsea if interested.

Cheers for comments.

Those bars don't look very strong to be honest. If they were oversized at the clamp I wouldn't mind the absence of a crossbar but they aren't. I'm very suspicious of most mtb street bars to be honest! I've broken some on the same day I've put them on my bike before. Thanks anyway though. They do, at least, look very cool.

I'm not really into the new look inspireds with the frame and fork the same colour but I'm loving this!

Slick tires look pretty cool. Do you feel confident turning with them at speed?

Saint cranks look awsome. I even like the fat seat :P

yeah, they're bmx size clamp, but they-re steel, they're intended for fgfs and judging by what this guy does wit them, i'm thinking they should hold up. But yeah, they seemed weird to me as well being that high with no crossbar...

Ben rides allot of static moves which tends to be more stressful than what that guy does.

Not feeling them pics Ben, something ain't right. Should look great in person, wouldn't mind that colour either.
