1337 Trials
Hello. Im looking at getting gears and im currently searching for a chain guide. My frame does not have ISCG mounts. Should I just get a press fit chain device or buy the ISCG mount and then get a ISCG chain device?
Tomm
Just get a BB mount chain device. There's no point having a BB mount adaptor and then then a device attached to that.
1337 Trials
Like this.... http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=56&products_id=362 Could do with a roller to go on the bottom for the chain to run on as it comes off the chain ring. Tomm
There are plenty of guides around, the Superstar ones are cheap but I've got an MRP taco-style one on my DH bike which is pretty nice. Superstar don't do ones with an inbuilt bashguard unfortunately, otherwise I'd have gone for that - they seem great value.

If it doesnt fit, ill take it off your hands Oki bud. I will need to buy a new chainring anyway as mine is for single speed (thicker) and it won't fit a 9 speed chain on. I also have a cassette but im not sure what cogs go on it and im a few washers down so I may just buy a cassette second hand
