N.Wood
Pretty solid frames as far as I know, check all welds for cracks, if the downtime is dented to f**k take extra care.

Andeee
This is the one i will be picking up, anyone know what year then? Thats a 2004 mate.. Looks quite good condition for its age with original decals on. EDIT: I have never heard any bad points on the 2004 frame. Friend of mine had one years ago they felt orite to ride and his was the long which measured at 1080 with pace forks. AkuskaUK
So this is a good buy then?Is this the short version? Can anyone tell?
Oldskooltrials
It's the short version, the long version has a bend in the top tube and gussets between the top and down tube.
AkuskaUK
Ok thanks, what are the main differences between the short and long? How would this compare to my old T-Rex?
Andeee
Short is about 1065.. depending on fork measurement like most frames. Most people now (TGS/Comp) riders are riding frames more than 1085 long.
AkuskaUK
I am 6ft 4", how would this ride for me?
Andeee
Should be ok. try the bike first and see how you get on with it. The changes to make a bike feel comfortable to ride is such thing as stacker height, different geo stem and different riser style bars.
rosswaa
I'm 6,5 and found it easy as hell to do stuff compared to the long, such a fun ride

Luke Dunstan
I had a short Pitbull. I'm 6ft2". And it near enough killed my back. As soon as I got a long frame it felt perfect. I'd recommend trying a short bike first if you can, but even if you do you won't feel any aches until you've ridden it for a while. Hate to piss on your corn flakes, but I wish I knew before I bought one. It Looked nice though.
AkuskaUK
Right, I got it! It rides amazingly but I don't like the HeadShox forks! I'm going to try and source some silver ones soon. Thanks for the help though people!
