Trials Bikes And Registration Numbers

Okay so I had my bike stolen from my garage about a month ago.

Then 2 days ago, I find this scatch ad on NSMB

http://buysell.nsmb....ust-sell&cat=14

Straight away I recognized that it has to be stolen because

- Unreasonably low price

- Can't provide real pictures

- Can't provide specs

- The past sell history of the seller.

Yesterday, I met up with the seller(Thief),

And of course it was my stolen Zoo Piranha

I told them it was my stolen bike and showed them the photos of my bike that I took before it was stolen, they let go of the bike and I had my Zoo back.

I went to the police today and because there is no registration number; there is not enough proof for me to send them to jail.

All my riding friends know its my bike, I know I have past pictures of the bike for comparison. But it's still quite impossible for prosecution.

Trials bikes obviously aren't custom handbuilt, and definitely not Deng frames. So why not put some f**king numbers on the bb shell so I can send those f**kers to jail?

you could just angle grind it off like they do with motorbikes and cars so theres no point, or just split it and sell the parts seperatly

That means

- Low resale value for the thief

But more importantly

- If they are caught with ground off bb shell bike, it will be obvious and that will be a proof that they are the thieves.

I'm the complete opposite.

I had a my spanking new Onza Limey 4 stolen afew weeks back and its still out there somewhere.

All 3 people have been caught and are in court this week but unfortunately the bike hasn't been recovered.

To be honest I couldn't give a f**k whether they get charged/punished at all - it makes no difference to me. All I want is my bike back.

Its not like if they are charged they'll go to jail, or even change who they are in the slightest.
