clerictgm
I went brakeless 2 weeks ago. And there is a problem - i can't do pedal-up. With brakes I can stable pedal-up to 28inch(yep, I'm newbie), but without brakes there are something that stops me. I can't even pedal-up to 10inch. And this is really frustrating. When I trying to do pedal-up it feels like oh my god DONT KNOW HOW TO MOVE STOPSTOPSTOP. Just need more practice? Maybe on flat?

Mark W
Practise It's also a case of learning to commit to front/two-wheels more. As soon as you start doing that, it's easier to control your bike and your speed upon landing, so it should be less scary.
Blake
Bunnyhops will be a lot safer to start with
Simpson
No offence, but you need to be "good" before you can pull off brakeless IMO. Start with brakes on and practice death gripping for a while until your more comfortable.
aener
Just get on with it. If you're gonna ride brakeless, you're GOING to fall off. Fact. The more you fall off, the better at not getting hurt you'll get, and the less scared you'll be of doing so. I should know - I end up face down on the floor nine times out of ten
eskimo
Brakeless is kinda like learning to ride again. When you've got the bike control you then learn to do new moves/tricks, not before. This is why you can't ride the same way straight off, because you're learning to ride again. Remember dropping off a 2' wall was scary? Well that's the same thing.
Duncy H
Like flipp said in a way. You got to learn to fall off! It sounds daft but when you can trust yourself to go down that escape route if needs be and so you know where to go then it will help you commit more. isitafox
As mark said you need to learn to get your weight forward goinv up stuff or as soon as you land the back wheel will zip out from underneath you everytime, as it did with me again earlier!
