MadManMike
Cheap mx5 eunos in red over at the Toyota garage that was a trade in, tempted.... How cheap is cheap and how rusty is it?
SamKidney
Cheap is sub £600 from what im told, and its certainly not the best but could make for a laugh
AdamR28
Well, you won't lose money on it at £600, so get it done...
dann2707
All fitted and over the moon with how they look! They look so much darker on these pics though. I'm going through the process of getting some paint mixed up to spray the bullets the same colour too. Jolfa
I know nothing about turbo conversions (and don't desire to learn), but 'monster racecar' makes it sound like a piece of shit. It's a ridiculous kit to be selling for an MX5, that's the turbo you might fit to an Audi i5 to get in the 400-500bhp bracket, to fit it to an MX5 would give you about a billion powarz for the top 1000 revs and absolutely nothing the rest of the time so yeah, it would be a piece of shit Edited June 25, 2015 by Jolfa

Cheers, I'm not going to lie, I thought that was going to be a sarcastic reply or a story of an Asian girl you dated who had the same wheels.

Lol! I used to be really into cars (despite having not owned one since 2007) so it's interesting to see what people are up to, hence I follow the thread. I do actually mean it though, the style, colour and size just look right.

craigjames
There does seem to be a huge amount of tyre and not a lot of wheel.

MadManMike
Small cars with big wheels and low profile tyres = crud. I reckon they look like the perfect size, I'd have gone lighter on the colour, but they're nice nonetheless.

Rowlly21
What's oulton park like for a first timer track ? Thinking of doing a novice day sometime and it is possibly the closest, any other suggestions for a first timer ? AdamR28
Its the best track in the country IMO, not really a 'novice' circuit but as safe as any if you drive to the conditions Where are you based? If you do head to Oulton and I'm free I don't mind heading down for the day to give some pointers

They're much lighter in person. Suppose you'll see in a months time

MadManMike
I'm still trying to break them up, but no luck so far. Next job is to pose as a hot 19 year old blonde girl and hope that he sends me incriminating selfies.

MadManMike
What have I missed here? I can't do the track day because I have to attend a wedding. If I can split them up beforehand, we're on to a winner.
Mark W
Aaaaaaah, right - I thought you'd split up with the lady friend or something. As someone who uses photo editing software frequently, why are you waiting for the incriminating selfies to come in?
MadManMike
I only use Lightroom, not actual manipulation software. If he sends me selfies, I can at least boost the lighting in the shaded area of his nut sack, so that's there's no doubt it's actually on display.

What is oulton like on the car is it reasonably tight or is it quite fast ? I have had a look at a few youtube videos but it's hard to tell.
