MartMini
i think the only things that's properly been broken on my car was the clutch, and i did that in style!
MadManMike
2008 Grande Punto 1.2 Just had a full service at a Seat garage (lol) When you drive in 1st and 2nd, around 2 to 2.5k, it makes a rattly noise which sounds like it's in the engine bay. My thoughts: 1) Exhaust heat shield / manifold shield 2) Wheel bearings 3) It's Italian junk Any ideas?
AdamR28
Heatshield is my guess...
SamKidney
I'd say definitely heat shield, the one that covers the exhaust manifold is prone for breaking loose. Ditch it. Edited May 18, 2015 by SamKidney
Jolfa
Heat shield for sure. Wheel bearing noise is dictated by road speed not engine speed. And embarrassment is the main symptom of driving an Italian turd.
george_seamons
I have a spending problem. Paid £12k for a mint S3 on Saturday...just spent an additional £1200 on it already, and I feel like I need to control the temptation to spend more. First world problems and all that.

AdamR28
You just need to buy an MX-5 as a toy and keep the Audi standard! At least it will be cheaper to run and you'll get round Snetterton faster then (A)

Pashley26
The quality of the worm drive and the pressing that holds the clasp (so to speak) which contains the worm drives.

The "thread" of the strap is also rolled into the sheet metal rather than pressed. This stops the infamous "click of death" you get with normal jubilee clips when you tighten them too much.
