why did you remove the sunroof?

It is not THAT heavy, and if you would be THAT much into the weight saving, you would not have carpets on your car... I do not understand you

How waterproof the roof now?

Apart from that Panda turd, which as I recall was the best car ever?

If you don't own a car it doesn't count.

We could also include my Mazda 2, Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Fiat Panda, Fiat 500L Trekking, Fiat Punto, Hyundai IX35, Hyundai Santa Fe in that list if we wanted to claim that I 'had them'.

How conenient for you both!

Sam Bryant is currently doing the Pro4 manifold and Relentless 3" DP/decat for a total £475 posted which is pretty tempting at the mo. Only thing that puts me off is the fact it's an S3/TT 4wd style DP so won't sit quite right. George/Nick, what were you guys running on your 2wd K04-023 setups?

May just get involved with the deal as it's a fairly good price, just needs a flange welding on to match the OE catback and could always tweak it to fit a little better if I get really bored I guess!

I had to tweak mine ever so slightly to get it to fit. Was very easy, literally just cut a section out and swapped it around. I also had to add a "strategic dent" because it was so close to the bulkhead. Mine went into one of the ebay 3" systems, so the flange bit wasn't an issue. Apparently if you move the engine over on the mounts it clears the bulkhead a bit easier too.

Compare that with the revised downpipe, and you can see the difference:

It is however a very good deal, so if you don't mind a bit of work, its probably worth the price. I really struggle to not recommend the 3" turbo back Cobra system though. £680 for a resonated system, but its worth every penny. Fits like an absolute dream, and the quality is excellent.

Just removed X" from the front end of the decat there, yeah?

I had picked up a 3" Cobra DP/Sports cat on eBay, but (can't remember if I ranted in here or The Angry Thread...) the seller was an utter mong so a month later when it finally got resolved I told him to shove it. He sent me a somewhat lairy message in return then got banned form eBay for abuse/harrassment

Would love to buy new, but can't really justify it. Certainly not bad though! I've got a Milltek centre box at home after spotting it for sale dirt cheap locally so making up a cat back shouldn't be the end of the world really.

Will have another hunt around just in case there are any second hand Cobra units knocking about at the mo else may well get involved with the group buy then. Cheers dude!

Ah, gotcha. Similar of effect really.

Long story short, he sent me an Astra exhaust and mine to (presumably) the intended recipient. Mistakes happen, so I said that if he sorted out a courier to collect, or slung me a few quid to do it myself we'd get the two exhausts sent to the correct buyers. He wasn't keen and wanted them both back in his own hands to resend - bit stupid but no biggy at all. Anyway, a fortnight later he still hadn't even arranged a courier, and I had to work away for a week. Came home, took him another week and still not sorted with me heading away to work for another week. Eventually pulled his finger out and booked a courier, gave me a load of stick for working away at which point I mentioned that if the right item was delivered in 3 days as promised there'd have been no issue, and even with the mixup there'd been plenty of time to sort it.

He'd already left me positive feedback and was less than amused when I then left him negative. He replied to feedback saying it was my fault etc, then sent me a particularly NSFW message via eBay, emails etc. I accidentally slipped and hit the "report" button and his account was closed shortly after :P

As much as I'm aware he has my address, I also have his, plus email, so should he try anything else it could get all kinds of fun...

Just send me round to fit a sunroof in his car.

So.

I've plumbed in my N75 properly, I say mine, I stole Prawn's.

Sometimes I wonder what the f**k people are doing!

Long N75 pipe in the TIP, that's right.

The top pipe was looped around to the middle pipe, and then the actuator was plumbed through an MBC to the pressurised turbo outlet pipe pre intercooler.

And the N75 was still connected.

No wonder it drove like a bag of spanners, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens now.

Jardo, the MBC was plumbed in parallel with the N75 to control boost spikes (assuming it is piped up as the diagram below...which it sounds like it is). You might find its really spikey now if the map on it is shite.

Danny, seats are Corbeau Club Sports. They are £300 for a pair, with side mounts, and double locking runners. I would recommend the XL version unless you have a 32" waist or below:

They come with sliders Danny. We installed them with sliders in jardos S3.

Standard size seat is TOO small IMO. I'm a 34'' waist, and I fitted and drove the car just fine, but scratching your balls on the move is absolutely out.

Bollock ammendments in the XL seat are hassle free when moving. So they win for me.
