sharn
I'm not sure? Bought this one through Retro-bikes about 3 years ago? If you dropped it off to me while i worked at Mud-dock cycles in Bristol then yet it was you! Last one i bought before that was a black one that i bought off someone at the bikeshow at N.E.C in Birmingham yeeeears ago! Could've been you? Oooh they are just the nicest frame ever though.. I know i'll want another one just to look at if i sell this one!
Pashley26
Stripped and re-greased the heater motor. Changed the door handles. The mechanisms were worn so you had to push the door handle in and squeeze them a couple of times to open the door. Replaced the foot rest by the throttle pedal. Then I took it out for dinner. This morning I replaced the indicator relay. All good. I'm not sure? Bought this one through Retro-bikes about 3 years ago? Ping me some Pics and a spec if you're serious about selling, if the frame is in good condition I'd love to buy another.

TrialsIsHard
I met a guy (with one arm) on a night out in Cardiff at the weekend, who has 2 Mk1 golfs one of which is around 600bhp* and the fastest N/A golf in the UK*. Saw some good pics of his cars on his phone -they were absolutely lovely. He's also buying a Ferrari 360 with flappy paddles, when I said flap paddles were gay he lifted his cape (yes, cape!) to show me what wasn't his left arm. Awkward... *These are all claims and suspected lies.
Pashley26
I called someone a f**king retard on a track day, then when the session ended watched them haul themselves out of their hand control converted car and into their wheel chair. Awk.

TrialsIsHard
How is he gonna downshift then? It'll be like Fast and Furious, haha. I was interested, but after the 'manuals are better' comment I thought I best not ask. Presumably you can adapt it so you have two smaller paddles in a vertical configuration? AdamR28
Or push to go down, pull for up? Surely that'd be easier? Can you do that? Wasn't sure if the paddles were linked...
Jolfa
Can you do that? Wasn't sure if the paddles were linked... They are on my old Sega Saturn steering wheel controller, so I assume the technology is identical.
MadManMike
I heard they based the Veyron on the Sega Saturn, makes sense really - why re-invent the wheel? (Pardon the many puns).
Luke Rainbird
And I'd imagine it would be relatively straightforward - dad's old 335i had paddles and it was a fairly common mod to make both work as up/down rather than left and right having a single function each. Pashley26
It's not going to be a race car, race cars aren't fun to drive on the road. - My projectors are here for the head lights, expect a lengthy post about those some time soon. Full polybush kit for the front end ordered, new rear beam bushes too. On the hunt for a steering wheel now.
Luke Rainbird
FFS - figured while I had a bit of time today I'd try and hunt down a couple of the many many boost leaks on the Leon. Seemed a good time to eliminate some likely sources so decided to remove the PCV system and 'cause I'm a tight b*****d figured screw catch cans, let's destroy the environment and drop all the gunk out the bottom of the car. Evidently karma turned around to bite me, as what should have been a relatively quick and painless task took the best part of 3 hours thanks to intermittent torrential downpours, awkward access and those god damn VAG single-use hose clips Finally on and sorted, but since it took so long I haven't even unwrapped the freshly powder coated ARBs, let alone got them on the car! greg1040
Hazzard switch made absolutly no difference at all. Am giving up with the car and just putting it into the garage to get checked out.

MadManMike
My exhaust with "Performance holes" seems to be "improving" every week. My car has now developed what I like to call "Ghetto VTEC" at around 3.5k revs. Part of me thinks it's amazing, the other part is ashamed at how f**ked it sounds.
