CurtisRider
Found a dirty great big screw through my rear tyre yesterday, not in a repairable area either Fortunately I have some new spares but this still had 6mm left.

Pashley26
I didn't think it was bad for 30K, but compared to the S2 it's not even in the same league. This is dangerous, I'm looking at other cars. That means my internal body clock is telling me it's time to sell the S3. Oh, how about a nice soft dash 944? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-944-LUX-2-5-/281494486646?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item418a60fe76
CurtisRider
That is nothing special for the price and the 2.5 would get boring unless you aren't after anything quick

Jolfa
That S2 is a fuuuucking lot of money for not a lot of car! That is essentially a 20k paint job... And the guy spells like a retard. Mine might be for sale for a fraction of that, and it's a considerably better spec Edited November 21, 2014 by Jolfa
dann2707
Don't get the V4 based on this Has taken me a year or so to create this listing Imagine how long you'll have to wait for him to come to the door when you go view the car
Pashley26
lols! I'm bored, I think the S3's going after Brands. Edited November 21, 2014 by Pashley26
greg1040
soo got a fair bit done to the car today most of it tacked in coming along nicely. Bits of the car to grind away ect to get it ect. A shit load more work than i ever realised. Needless to say this will be my first and last cage i ever doo. Thinking bout getting the interior painted when its all in and done to tidy it up a bit. Need to cut into dash then sending it away to get flocked. Door cards no longer fit. My heating doesnt get past the side of cage will need chopped up and modified. Big metal chunk for holding steering in place needs a big half circle cut into it thrn welded to cage. Wires literally everywhere but guess they only clip bk into 1 place. I think this is just gonna end up a track car by the time its done.
Tom Booth
Awesome stuff Greg, Id love a properly sorted DC2. A mate of mine just bought one, he's slammed it with some Rotas or some shit on it, it looks absolute shit and handles like turd. Such a waste of a special car. Danny
Looks identical to how my sol did behind the dash. I guess half the parts are interchangeable.
dann2707
The V6 rep spoiler from Italy arrived. I ordered it Tuesday and it came Friday. Can't believe how quickly it arrived to be honest!! Looks like a great addition to my bed lol 20141122_121137 by dann2707, on Flickr To my surprise it came with bolts and the new rear screen washer and pipe and also fitting instructions! 20141122_121238 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_121242 by dann2707, on Flickr The underside 20141122_121337 by dann2707, on Flickr The topside 20141122_121348 by dann2707, on Flickr This is where the brake light goes, the little dimple to the right (might even call it an inverted nipple for the lols) is the location of where you are to drill a pilot hole for the brake light. It's there for a reason. 20141122_121419 by dann2707, on Flickr And the bigger cavity is for the brake light connector to fit through, this was filed down so that my brake light fit through. 20141122_121422 by dann2707, on Flickr My new windscreen wipers came. They're genuine Bosch flat ones which I got from the bay Before: 20141122_122220 by dann2707, on Flickr After: 20141122_122433 by dann2707, on Flickr I then started removing the old spoiler to test fit the new one before painting. Spoiler off! 20141122_123444 by dann2707, on Flickr Fitted my original brake light. 20141122_125631 by dann2707, on Flickr And on the car. I didn't do it up tight so it looks like it doesn't fit flush but the bolts are on baby tight. Reason for doing this is just to make sure everything lines up correctly as i'm not going to want to faff around marking and drilling new holes once it's been painted. Good job I did this.. later pics will show. 20141122_131014 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_131021 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_131033 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_131037 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_131044 by dann2707, on Flickr The best thing about it is that it doesn't catch the roof like the proper renault V6 spoiler does which requires shorter boot struts, the final price of the renault spoiler and boot struts comes to £515!! 20141122_131100 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_131103 by dann2707, on Flickr And my biggest complaint with the spoiler is that the middle two bolt holes do not line up with the cars original holes. Not an issue as i'll just mark and drill new holes there but still, you'd think they'd line up. 20141122_131130 by dann2707, on Flickr 20141122_131134 by dann2707, on Flickr Overall i'm impressed with the spoiler for the price I paid £73. The quality of it isn't fantastic due to it being fibreglass and having a few manufacturing marks but i'm sure once i've sanded it down, keying it for paint it will look great. Really happy with it and I think it's going to transform the rear end completely.

MadManMike
Finally got all my new brake goodies fitted. 22 year old bolts don't like moving Just gotta bleed them now, the issue is that the car is miles away in a dark lockup, so I get limited time to work on it... Hopefully be sorted next weekend, then it's new suspension time!
CurtisRider
Borrow/buy an EZ bleed, it'll take a few mins and away you go did you spray any WD40 style stuff on the bleed nipples before you left?
Luke Rainbird
I think I want a 240z/similar as a project car. Minor issue of needing to buy a place to keep it though...
SamKidney
240z's are gorgeous cars. There's a lad round here somewhere that's done an SR20DT turbo swap in his and it looks phenomenal, the way it goes is something else too

dann2707
I've been told etch primer is only for metal to prevent corrosion? Got some high build primer though.
Tom Booth
They told wrong. You'll need a single coat of etch. Rule of thumb, unless it's already painted just etch it out of precaution.
