SamKidney
Just throwing it out there, my Micra cost me 150 with 8 months test and cost 74 quid to tax for 6 months. Mechanicaly sound, and rediculous fun because it doesn't matter if I break it. Drive to work is awesome on little back roads with a limit of 60mph, thrashing the nuts off it to hold/gain speed and taking a corner as fast as I dare, obviously taking into account traffic (it's all downhill, can see what's coming for almost 2 miles ahead) Awesome cheap fun, if it lasts a year ill be made up with it
dann2707
Bought a spoiler for £100 delivered. I then f**ked up the paintwork because I tried to remove the old paint and paint strippers available to the public are f**king gash, so messed up the spraying of it. I expected to get around £80 for it. Just sold on eBay now for £135 with what happened in the description. YAYYYYYY
Jake.
Think I'm going to have to sell the Audi, would really rather not. To ease the pain I'm already sizing up projects for a couple of years time when I'll be able to start again An RS2, mid engined version of that My caddy is for sale. Mot until February, Audi A3 Seats included but not fitted will be included. £1500 I do it now with new Fiats. Customer picks it up, drives it like miss daisy even though I've told them to thrash it from day one, they bring it in a few weeks later saying it's slow as f**k and shit on fuel, you take them out and thrash the shit out of it then hand them the keys and they go away wondering WTF just happened. When I think fiat the word quick doesn't really tend to come to mind... It a customer came back to me and said that I would have responded "yeah well it's a fiat". JDâ„¢
It a customer came back to me and said that I would have responded "yeah well it's a fiat". That's why you're not the biggest first loser in their sales department. In other news, suspension swap done. More details when I've got over the emotions involved if anyone's even slightly interested. Edited November 20, 2014 by JDâ„¢

MadManMike
So, I changed all of my brake bits and had to buy two new rear callipers. I hooked up a deal with a guy on Facebook on Sunday night and he shipped them next day. My Facebook status explains the rest: "A big round of applause to Yodel, who have managed to drive an impressive 38.6 miles in four days. If my calculations are correct, I should get my rear brake callipers in 18 days time. Good job it's not costing me £10 a day on the train... Oh, wait." Haz
Agreed on Ken Block boring-ness. Love the car though. In other news, ECP have failed yet again to supply the correct parts.
dann2707
This is a pretty common mod to do but easily one of the best value for money mods. RS197 badge Tidies the back end up so much! Before: 20141120_184822 by dann2707, on Flickr After: 20141120_194025 by dann2707, on Flickr Just ordered a Clio V6 spoiler too so that will be coming next week. Can't wait to get that on and finish the back end up (although needs a nice exhaust now )

Could I borrow some spraying tips from you please? Something about doing the lacquer the same day as the Base coat? Thanks Tom!

forteh
Could I borrow some spraying tips from you please? Something about doing the lacquer the same day as the Base coat? Thanks Tom! Base coat can in lefthand lacquer can in right hand, spray together, watch it dry. Hey presto both applied on the same day! The resultant finish will be fine I'm sure
