Pete.M
Fitted this makeshift 2.5" cat back system today. It's awesome. Much deeper sound than before, and a nice bearable volume for a daily driver. Very happy.
trials owns
does that stand for rear? looks like ballpoint pen? either way thats annoying!
Danny
That's horrific. Are you going back to shove the wheel up their arses sideways? have they scratched that inside the wheel Yep scratched in. Ive only just noticed it. I guess its been there since before i bought the car. Luckily now the wheels clean you can barely see it. does that stand for rear? looks like ballpoint pen? either way thats annoying! Either rear or right i guess.

AdamR28
Decent day down at Thruxton yesterday, pole by over a second (no test day so the regulars / money chuckers didn't have that advantage), fastest lap and a win in race 1, also won race 2. Quality track, so much is flat out, averaging over 87mph for the full 20 minutes! As a result, the video was a bit boring, but here's Race 1 start where Bessell nicked ahead of me cos I was snoozing but then missed a gear, and my fastest lap (1:35.0). Tried to find out where that is compared to other cars and found this link: http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/thruxton.html. Then I LOLd and realised there must be something wrong with those numbers...

Absolutely love it!! When you put your foot down now the power is just instantly there, you get more road / engine noise and it feels and sounds f**king amazing when all 182 horses are alive Everything feels so much tighter. It vibrates a tad bit more at idle but as before when I did my last car, it just feels like a more eager vibration like it just wants to go. So so happy with it. Anyway heres some pics I took. Needs lowering so bad I know 2014-09-19 17.42.24 by dann2707, on Flickr 2014-09-19 17.42.32 by dann2707, on Flickr 2014-09-19 17.42.46 by dann2707, on Flickr 2014-09-19 17.42.52 by dann2707, on Flickr This last pic is fairly comparable to when I first got the car and you can see a few changes hopefully. 2014-09-19 17.42.57 by dann2707, on Flickr

dann2707
It's not even vibrating bad at all thats the thing, it's just a nice soothing vibration haha. Would be quite upset if it does down.
AdamR28
It doesn't need lowering, and nobody cares if your dog bone is a bit dirty Cool to see the progress though, looks much better with the dark wheels.

TOMTRIALS123
Went to Rally Day yesterday! My cousin bought his Autosport 6R4 along with him but due to a knackered wheel bearing we couldn't go out on track Anyway, I got shit loads of photos, so here ye are: There are plenty more where that came from, I just don't know whether they'll fit on one page The Mitsubishi R5 was also released yesterday, so I got a few photos of that

TOMTRIALS123
But only when they have good wheel bearings :/ Justin pushed our one across the floor of the workshop and knackered the bearing and spline. My cousins one is the 14th and 19th picture up. Edited September 21, 2014 by TOMTRIALS123

Cheers Ads! It does really though Apparently the bilsteins transform the car a great amount. That's one thing i've noticed when cornering, because I don't have the cup pack the bodyroll is quite a lot. Not bad but I would like it more planted. AdamR28
Dampers don't control body roll. They do change how the car feels on initial turn in though, and this is what people get confused with. Cliosport is one of the worst car forums for handling/suspension advice, don't think I've ever seen a 'correct' post on there about it! I love the rear anti roll bar recommendations, 'wow my car has so much more grip now!!!' - actually it has less grip, just a better balance. And the cocking a rear wheel thing is actually bad, a wheel off the floor isn't providing any cornering force. Its simply a drawback of the archaic rear suspension design. Personally I'd leave the standard shocks on for road blasting, they will offer better compliance. If you did want to change stuff, a set of Eibach camber bolts for the front is a good shout. About 1.5-2 deg of camber up front will make a big difference!
