MadManMike
Yeah that's the one JD. The guy can't meet me tonight but is letting me know where it is, so I can at least check the outside over. If it's any good I'll take it for a spin after work tomorrow and then possibly buy it. Will try and knock him down a little.
JD™
Too right, you got buttf**ked for £130 off of an already good deal – pay it forward!
Pashley26
A reasonable week in the world of S3 ownership! I found an S3 friend in the work car park. I fitted some TT pedals. I rebuilt my DV. I took a picture. I stripped the back out for this weekend. I fitted some new plugs. I dropped the oil. I fixed the brake pad warning sensor plug. And the ABS sensor. I removed some stickers. I removed this POS. And replaced it with this. And I still haven't sold it! and don't feel overly inclined to. MadManMike
Done some research and realised that model is 22.4bhp and gets to 60 after a week. Scrap that idea.
Pashley26
Dare I say this... Why MX5?
AdamR28
Because awesome.Did a track session at a local sprint / kart circuit the other night in my daily, ace fun and lapping faster than a Mustang, DC5 and fully track prepped 172? Don't mind if I do.https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10202779275471178&set=o.327640824083955&type=2&theaterA tip: Budget roads tyres don't like track work... forteh
Can't imagine a mustang would be worth even taking to 3 slappers
AdamR28
Haha. He seemed keen to keep telling me the rear tyres were worn out... Would have worn out faster if he used the throttle in the corners, haha.https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10202779281951340&set=o.327640824083955&type=2&theater
Mark W
He's got photos on his FB page of him at Oulton too. Seems like a weird car to buy if you're planning on doing track days in it?

Pashley26
Why doesn't Mike just go buy a Clio 172 and be done with it?
Muel
I've been to three sisters on my bike, it's awesome. Annoying when you've got a very slippy clutch though.
dann2707
Why doesn't Mike just go buy a Clio 172 and be done with it? 182.I don't drive this car for mpg at all. Averaging 35 mpg however on motorway runs it gets me 52 or 51.9 if you're being a fanny when driving at 60mph. Loving this car so so so much. MadManMike
Dare I say this... Why MX5? £1000 budget. Want RWD. Want 2 seater. MR2 Roadster ugly as sin. I like MX5's.

dann2707
£1000 budget. Want RWD. Want 2 seater. MR2 Roadster ugly as sin. I like MX5's. Are you not scared that with having such a low budget you'll fall into the trap of owning another money pit? I know mx5 bits are cheap but still.
