HippY
Does he say turban? American car design sucks so bad. why? SamKidney
This cars doing my head in. Anyone familiar with Corsas? My tanks been run dry by the last owner. I've stuck 4 gallons in, but still won't start. There's a "service port" on the end of the fuel rail, and when flick the key and press it in, lots of airated fuel squirts out, so the pumps sending fuel to it as it should. Is it just a case of continuing to bleed it out until it's a steady stream of fuel with no air in it comes through? It tries to fire but I can only assume its then dragging air through and then I'm back to square one
AndrewEH1
I'm selling my number plate...haha. £450 would buy you the wheels though? Selling the wheels? What size are they? Condition? Also for the numberplate you might get more via eBay, maybe even on one of the Audi forum if there are enough idiots about.

Azarathal
Expecting a nice bonus this month so Sony Xav-602 and reversing camera with hard wired dash cam (with video feed for playback) to the head unit sounds like an option

Azarathal
Scratch that, AppRadio3 seems a bit better imo, audio quality slightly decreased over the Sony but it actually works with phones other than the sony's

Greetings
Gave the M3 a wash and waxed it quickly. Off on holiday, half way into it going to a competition if it takes place. Seems lots of people have gone off on holiday and there is little interest in this round so they might cancel it. It's the most adrenaline pumping round of the season and I'd really like it to take place... still from last year sums it up nicely. Christ on earth, someone had luck on his side that day... Trying to figure out whether lucky or good driver. Edited July 20, 2014 by Greetings

Pashley26
Two weeks later I still don't have a refund from Technicunts. I've just ordered a CG Motorsport Kevlar stage 2 friction plate, a 30% uprated pressure plate and new bolts. Hopefully get my refund from Techniclutch in the next day. Otherwise I will escalate to EBay. Just want it fixed now.
Pashley26
FINALLY got my refund from Technicunts, let the spannering begin. Can't wait to get stuck into it again. Get this clutch saga out the way, get it bed in properly then a four wheel alignment and booooooost back on my life. I've been driving my pop and a mix of Fiat 500's for the past two weeks. So bored.

dann2707
Update time I received some new A pillars in the post as I attempted to spray mine black but for some reason, despite using plastic primer and doing all the necessary steps, it just flaked off as you can see. DSCN2472 by dann2707, on Flickr I then removed all the paint from the centre caps with wilkos paint remover. DSCN2471 by dann2707, on Flickr Primered them using plastic primer, got a coat amount of cover on them DSCN2476 by dann2707, on Flickr Then finally sprayed them. DSCN2487 by dann2707, on Flickr Then today I went to change the wheel bearing as when I got the car, the nut was crazily loose which had caused damage. When I removed the hub, the bearings fell out of their cage which isn't ideal. So I changed that... DSCN2490 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2491 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2492 by dann2707, on Flickr The outer race was on the knuckle fairly tight as you'd imagine so got the grinder out and started taking it apart and managed to get it cracked off. DSCN2493 by dann2707, on Flickr New bearing in woooo DSCN2494 by dann2707, on Flickr Liberal amounts of copper grease yes please DSCN2495 by dann2707, on Flickr All back on! DSCN2496 by dann2707, on Flickr I then started sanding back the renault badges on the centre caps as they were a weird colour. Managed to almost get a brushed aluminium effect as shown on the centre caps themselves Before: 2014-07-22 19.50.05 by dann2707, on Flickr 2014-07-22 19.50.18 by dann2707, on Flickr After: DSCN2497 by dann2707, on Flickr Now i've just been out and got some final pics of the wheels on Well happy with how they've turned out. Pics make them look more black than anthracite but they're not really. DSCN2501 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2503 by dann2707, on Flickr Also got a cliosport sticker in the post DSCN2505 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2507 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2508 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2509 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2510 by dann2707, on Flickr DSCN2513 by dann2707, on Flickr Needs the tyre soap removing fully and some tyre shine applying but that can come at a later date. Knackered atm. These pics also show the calipers behind the wheels. Glad I didn't go for anything tacky like red. Pete.M
Tidy that Clio. Just calculated that I've spent at least £2405 on the Volvo in 1.5 years, the majority of which was unnecessary. And I'm going to be spending at least £500 on an engine swap soon, probably £600 or so if I attempt to make an exhaust for it. I paid £700 for the car. Whoops.
CurtisRider
Pete I have spent pretty much the same in one year, and it seems another £1500 is needed for the engine, wide body kit and paint. Bloody hope I get a pay rise next term!
trials owns
since ive lowered my passat (a fair way!) my wheels have obviously got some negative camber hence excessive tyre wear. if i get my car tracked will it solve this? many thanks. the reason ive asked is im buying some tyres for my new 18" rs4 alloys, hopefully making it look better!
LiamWood!
If it's not too excessive camber then tracking it will help to an extent if you haven't had the tracking done since lowering it. Beyond that I'd assume you would need some camber bolts? I'm not sure what you vag boys run in terms of camber adjustment.
RobinJI
I'd hate to add up what I've spent on the Scirocco. Speaking of which, I just spent over £250 just on bloody coolant hoses for the thing. Screw you custom engine install, screw you. At least it'll be nice to get rid of the horrific nest of hoses that currently lives above my gearbox. It should smarten up the engine bay massively. This was all caused by an £11 plastic fitting on the side of the head failing. As I'm replacing the fitting, I want to replace it with a much more suitably shaped one (A3 fitting instead of Passat fitting). As such, I need to alter the routing of a few hoses, and logic says that this means I should replace every coolant hose in the engine bay. I'll be spending more tomorrow too on the fitting its self and obviously some fresh coolant, as well as ordering a new header tank (mines cloudy and they're only £12.) Then I'll be needing a catch tank ASAP. Sorry bank account. Edited July 22, 2014 by RobinJI
Haz
You're going to start putting me to shame... I've had to buy a new Skoda splitter and some silver visions just to make myself feel better. Also bought the correct boss for my car after finding out the OMP one isn't correct. Woohoo.
