In a way I'm glad I can't go above 2k rpm without making mine and everyone else's ears bleed. It also means I no longer get tailgated! Greetings Posted June 19, 2014 Report Share Posted June 19, 2014 New ride height for a very bumpy comp. Should be ok despite it essentially being my track setup from 2 weeks ago. Also set the rear ARB to very stiff and front to soft to counter the front inner wheel lifting off the ground in corners. This also surprised me a lot, probably caused by a stone which flew off a car driving in front of me on the last trackday. CurtisRider Posted June 20, 2014 Report Share Posted June 20, 2014 What a knob. Astra is so close to being ready, annoyingly a bleed nipple snapped on a caliper and the dump plug is very rounded. Got some fun coming my way tomorrow... Hopefully it'll be mechanically sorted then and I can crack on with making it shiny. Clutch and gearbox work a treat now at least Porsche really needs some love, coil leaked all it's oil so I whacked on an old spare. Driveshafts need replacing, lumpy idle needs curing and the car looks like a feeling state as the rattle canned sections are all cracking up, I can't afford a real respray this year so I'm thinking graffiti paint like robins got on the mx5...
