Mark W
Did you tell him he needs to go 185 miles North to pick up the undertray if he needs it? Mine's on my car - I ziptied it back on before I left. Need it for the bitchin' aero effects (and to absorb some of the mystery fluid leak into the horrible foam pads on it). For £150 they can go f**k themselves anyway. I think you might be lucky enough to have a parcel shelf from a Rover 25 ont' mezza m8 but I can't remember if it came with it or not... AdamR28
Hmm. Who the f**k does this one belong to then. Confused... Ah well, £150's not bad...
CurtisRider
£150 seems very good, I've been struggling to get more than £80 for a car recently
Mark W
I was pleasantly surprised in all honesty - considering that price was fully picked up 'n' stuff (as well as the driver being sound as f**k despite being a little eager timings-wise). Having some alloy wheels boosted the price by a cool £7 too. I won't spend it all at once. I think it would've been an extra £20 if I delivered it to their 'car recycling agent' rather than having it picked up, but bearing in mind I'm in Bristol and they're in Poole I'd rather they took the hit for that one. In case I didn't mention it before this was all done through motorwise.com.
AdamR28
Isn't Poole, like, fecking miles from Bristol? Bargain £20!
N.Wood
Approx 70 each way, yeah.
Greetings
Want. One of my favourite all time cars these. Of I had the cash, it's be this or the e60 v10 version I've driven both, well the M6 to be precise and it's a bit of a nuisance to be honest. The car second guesses you all the time or gives you that impression when it's not. A manual would probably be a lot better. Also the problem I found with the M6 was that it was too quick. The E39 M5 comes with skinny tyres for it's weight and power which means you're never further away than a quarter of the throttle from having it sideways. The M6 has a lovely engine/exhaust note but to be honest, it's just too quick to enjoy the noise. Perhaps the speed is something you get used to and can then enjoy other things, I only had it for about 30 miles and the power overwhelmed me. *gentlydoesit
£150 seems very good, I've been struggling to get more than £80 for a car recentlysorry.. naff all to do with your post, I just wanted you to get a notification I've just finished re-trimming a dash in a 944 and found a random bulb in a holder dangling around It comes from the radio harness part of the loom, Any clue where that should go?its this badboy. Its not part of the heater controls, which would be the obvious place. I'm at a loss checked most of the diagrams on line and I can't aee it anywhere. CurtisRider
Yeah I have that floating about too, I just put it in a bulb holder looking area on the left side of my heater control fascia and it illuminates the spaces and looks nice... nobody I've spoken to seems to know what it is for (my guess was the original radio or something?) *gentlydoesit
(my guess was the original radio or something?) I had the same thought. Glad I don't have to take the dash out again . Cheers dude

Duncy H
Can anybody shed a bit of light for me. I'm curious to hear advice on getting a van on finance (don't really want a brand new one). Would like to hear what sort of situations mean it's worth doing, what's best way to go about it or should I make do and lower my sights a bit as to what I can really afford? TOMTRIALS123
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. I'm putting it up for sale immediately but I intend to enjoy it as much as possible until it goes.

I bought a van on finance 2 years ago. The van cost me 6 grand + vat and I only used finance because at the time it made sense to keep the cash available in case I needed it . 3 months later I settled the finance and in total it cost me about £400. I would'nt buy a van with vat on it unless you are vat registered though.
TrialsIsHard
Been away from this forum for about a year now, good to see it's still as lively as ever! Anyway, I'm gonna join in. This is my 1999 Peugeot 106 GTi, 1.6 litre 16V. The car only puts out about 140bhp, but it makes a great noise and is a hoot in the corners. Anybody else on here a French car bearer? TrialsIsHard
Looks like a tidy example that mate! That was after a wax, have recently ordered a Maguiar's clay bar kit to properly look after it. It's pretty much un-molested, which is hard to find these days. Only had it a few months, but am entirely fixated on this power vs. weight game.. As are Adam Read and Adam Bessell from the posts I keep seeing on facebook (which looks epic fun)
dann2707
Definitely. Probably why I found my Rover Metro super fun as it was 105bhp in a car that weighed 750kg. Current car is also fairly nippy but with it being a big heavy diesel lump in a 1350kg ish car 200bhp just doesn't really feel like it. Jake.
Looks nice that Oli! Wasn't expecting 140bhp from that, looks very clean and non-chavvy which is good haha. On other news, my A3 seats arrived and hopefully I'm going to try fit them tomorrow... Wish me luck I also went to a Classic VW meet tonight, moderner VW's were welcomed but there weren't many, mostly T5's. Pics to follow. Yeah those 16V engines are really spritely(redlines at just over 7k) and do have a surprising amount of poke when you're giving it some Been silently watching your VW project over the past 6 months or so, gonna look really good when it's all sorted! Jake.
Also a video of some guys Mk2 Caddyvan with mental speakers inside, he decided he'd take over the music once the live band stopped playing. I thought that was a little bit dickish to be honest.
