Very pretty car. Are you the one with a ~300bhp Lotus 7 lookalike? If so I'd be rather interested to hear your opinion on the Merc, anyone who drives a mental car like that must know what they're talking about :P

You need to be a part of staffordshire council to apply, but it's pretty unknown of! Linky dinky http://www.tradedservices.staffordshire.gov.uk/fleetcare/car-leasing.aspx

Only one other person from our Firestation has got one, rates them very highly.

You can't be on adhoc payment, but so long as you are, you can get new car! Just give him or her a bell and they'll send the list over just shy of 8k variants.

So after realising I had a boost leak I set on to create some kind of silicone tubing method to connect to the EGR delete.

This is the 90° tubing!

And the original boost pipe that uses VAG connectors that leak like mad. So I decided to see if I could use the little bead around the boost pipe to hold the silicone pipe on but would require me to chop it down a bit.

Which eventually left me with this!

I tidied it up with a file after those pics. Then it's going on like this.

I could do with chopping the silicone down a bit more but it's okay for now, wanted to play it safe!

Given it's doing exactly the same job as on a petrol engine I can't see there being any difference in fitting/use. In that respect, it should be nice and easy and given that the engine's fairly modified definitely a worthwhile task (Y)

Could even do a Dan Cox and go all out on the pro-look mounting; http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/292840-daniels-seat-ibiza-sport-pd130/?p=3480044
