Pashley26
No wax protects from stone chips, no wax protects from branches and physical damage. People who would use a colour charged show wax like the one I am testing would only care about the beading and sheeting performance, the durability, the colour depth and gloss, the ease of application and removal as well as the long term for hazing or retention of finish. I am doing a long term test piece for Mark at the Detailing Barn to show the durability of Angelwax when correctly applied to a correctly prepared car. A week in, and 500 miles later the water is still beading heavily and sheeting on uncurved panels. The depth of gloss is still excellent and the wax doesn't seem to have dropped in terms of clarity either. Birds droppings which had been on over night were easily wiped clean with no wax deterioration or paintwork hazing. I pressure washed the car this morning, with no shampoo or contact and it has come out like the day I waxed it. So basically it has provided a medium gloss, soft show finish wax with a high endurance hard wax durability. Which is quite exciting and will be something the normal show wax users would love, because they can get the same results for longer with less wax. This is a show wax; not a cake it on for winter protection wax like Collinite. Wax it once with a show wax, and do a month's worth of shows without high maintenence inbetween. How do i remove this from my focus wheels? photo.JPG Iron X ? Yes. Although, use AngelWax Revelation because it is cheaper and smells better and works better. Order from Mark at Brotek and tell him I sent you, you will get it next day. Edited November 2, 2013 by Pashley26

Also what can i clean/condition my leather with without making it horrible and shiny? I like to use an APC, diluted 20:1 and a fine microfiber on leather. Autofinesse APC is nice, and it smells of light pine. Then retreat it with Glyptone conditioner and buff it with a microfiber to the desired shine. My leather has a nice supple feel, and is a satin finish. I have cleaned it this way. For fabrics on half leather seats a quick spritz with a quick detailer and a gently brush with a cloth works very well.

Danny
A 100 ton wheel might be a little on the heavy side.
Boumsong
Well obviously I wouldnt use all of it all in one go all on one project. That would be silly. I could make two 50 tonne ones?? What would be best? Ally, stainless or mild?

Itd need to be covered though or you'll stick to it in the winter
Pete.M
Dumb question here, but I figure someone like Jardo might have an idea. I got these little samples from Angelwax ages ago, but I have absolutely no idea what they are for. Any clue? I want to eat them.
Greetings
translation please Nice one Alex! Cheers It's a brand specific magazine so they were more interested in the car but also covered my short career in motorsport and plans for the next season. Most of it is about the car - how it was built, what it feels like to drive and so on. Nice one! Sponsors ahoy! I'd love to, that's one of the reasons why I agreed to this. Don't think it'll work but probably worth trying. I hope that sharing this will help me unwind and get over it. My dentist and very good friend just called and said he has to sell this. I've been in love with this model for over 5 years and it's been my dream to own one. Sadly always had other expenses, as is the case this time. But this is the first chance to buy one in perfect nick. Don't really want to be stuck with a loan for the next year or two but I'm as tempted as I've ever been. He's not in a hurry which helps. He's offered me a really good price since he doesn't want it to go to some idiot who will mistreat it and being a dentist he's got more money than he needs. It's just that the garage of cars his wife doesn't know about needs to accommodate a recently purchased Evo and there's no room. This one he's owned for over 3 years and his wife knows nothing about it, hence it barely had any use whatsoever. What makes it worse for me is that I've driven this car and it's amazingly brilliant. It's even got an Eisenmann exhaust which adds to the madness.
Haz
So I've done some more to the Clio. New 'cup' wishbones including bushes and ball joints, track rods, track rod ends, steering rack bushes, bump stops/damper gaiters (mine were mostly in two pieces as seen above) CV boot kit and rear reg plate light. An ABS reluctor ring from eBay and not shown some Powerflex ARB bushes. Solid top mounts and Strut Brace Also painted my calipers because they really were grotty. My car is dirty as fuark. dann2707
Did the elephant mod earlier in the week: First impressions are good, I didn't see any better pick up however I noticed a 2mpg increase on my run up to Newcastle last week. Averaged 67mpg sat at 70-75mph all the way there which I was very happy with! Usually get around 64-65mpg. Second update is, i've had a few issues with tracking lately (as said on here a few times lol). Garage kept telling me its hard to track as apparently the "springs have been cut". Personally from inspection they looked fine but the car did sit low and the os shock absorber was leaking like mad. So I ended up changing them. Started dismantling everything, fairly easy but the drivers side was a bit of a ***** due to having to compress the shocker as it won't slide down due to the driveshaft getting in the way. Shocker out. Leaky shocker! New springs all fitted thanks to the garage up the road. It was 6.30pm and absolutely freezing outside but I told myself I needed to get it done as i've got Uni tomorrow at 9am and don't want to get the train so onwards I goooooo! haha All in Managed to do both sides within an hour which I was pretty pleased with to say I didn't have spring compressors or a hub splitter which would have made my life much easier. Suspension looks so so high at the front now, just needs to settle i'd imagine.

Prawny Baby
I've changed What's happening to me?350 miles on the clock, and despite having a whopping 95bhp, I'm absolutely loving the Fiesta!Very impressive little chassis for a stock car, less grip than the megane, but nicer balance, and not fast enough to get into trouble. Not bad for a free car. Pashley26
Dumb question here, but I figure someone like Jardo might have an idea. I got these little samples from Angelwax ages ago, but I have absolutely no idea what they are for. Any clue? I want to eat them. The one on the left is Angelwax Desirable. Smells like bubblegum? That is a very soft, synthetic show wax. Gives one of the highest glosses of any anywax on the market. It is a brilliant wax, but gives a very synthetic and sharp look. This is my old car waxed with Desirable. This wax is best applied very thin with a 90ppi sponge. The work in time is roughly three minutes, two minute haze and two minute buffing. The second wax looks like Angelwax original. Which is a natural medium content wax, with good depth and a very light gloss. Excellent for dark cars, or a more traditional finish. I have used a panel pot, and was very impressed. It doesn't like to be layered well. This is well worth applying by hand, rubbing a button sized piece into your hands like moisturiser, then crossing your thumbs and applying in small over patting V shapes. Taking two minutes to work, 5 minutes to haze then 5 minutes to buff using a clean super plush microfiber for each panel. It HAS to be a super plush, or it will haze and hologram. I spritz the car over with QD and gently spread it over the panel before hand waxing, it helps the wax last and spread. I don't have any pictures of original, but it was very close to the Waxybox Anniversary.
