dann2707
That pikey heat shrink idea sounds like a possible quick fix for my car, cheers for that! I've just received mine in the post but 76mm is way wayyyy too small for my boost pipes. I can't find a decent thread on how to apply it as obviously I can't put the boost pipes through it, do you think it'd be possible just to wrap the boost pipe in the heat shrink wrap and go to brown town with the air gun?! forteh
Nope, heat shrink tubing is, as the name implies, a tube that shrinks If you cut it along the length and then apply heat it will just curl up, it needs to be in the tube format to shrink down onto the object you're coving. Azarathal
Got a vibe optisound 8 under seat sub on the way, wouldn't dream of paying the £180rrp for such a small box but maplin have £30 off and then staff discount on top means I paid a grand total of £112, not expecting big bass but the door speakers only really have mid range punchy bass rather than the deeper lows
Luke Rainbird
Did I read correctly and this is going in a CityRover?

J.KYDD
Van Love that! Really like Vito vans but they are expensive when they go wrong. I've got a Primastar (Vivaro/Traffic) and Aviva are really the only insurer to bother with when it comes to private van insurance - so cheep As for wheels, if you can find a set cheep, they look awesome on the Merc alloys you quite often see on Veedubs etc

RobinJI
I've chucked a standard Ford Puma sub in my boot the last month or so. Does the job of making my stereo sound marginally less crap, plus, it was free, and the Sony amp I'm using to run it was £5. Must sort my stereo out sometime, I really need some half decent front speakers and a bit of sound deadening to make long drives a bit less dull/noisy. Jolfa
I've just bought a really sexy inlet manifold Guy bought the manifold and an intercooler from Spain for £1300, it arrived with the little plastic wheel a bit snapped, a big argument ensued between buyer and seller, which ultimately ended up with me picking it up for £300, go me! In other news I also have a stage 3 clutch on the way, a lightened flywheel, a rear S2 bumper I'm in the middle of painting, and possibly the pimp Competition rear spoiler and then realised I've spent about £700 on my car, oops!
