Pashley26
How do you turn a fruit into a vegetable? (do not read if easily offended) Aids. - Currently speaking with Black Widow about a K300 RS6 hybrid with a 2280 billet compressor wheel, modified K04 housing and uprated actuator. If the prices are right I'll be keeping the car. Edited June 13, 2013 by Pashley26
greg1040
Was down at pvs at the weekend first car show at Santa pod. Set off Friday 10 hour drive was a bit of a killer and camped out over the weekend and home Sunday. Saw some beasting cars on the quickest time I think was in the 10s a 300+bhp full carbon nova. Power to weight ***. Wasn't impressed with the vxr range even big power cars were puttin down poor times just aswell I didn't mod Mine with new turbo. Saw a golf r in the 11s made me want mine back. Will defs be heading down Santa pod again in the near future.
MadManMike
As you can see from the vegetables on the right - yes. Hahaha, I nearly lost a mouthful of beer all over my keyboard just then (PS, I'm expecting gay-joke edits of the above sentence, however now I've prompted it they'll be even less funny. Unfortunate.) Greetings
Went to the petrol station in the M3 to buy some Somersby, my mate spotted me and stopped by in a Megane RS. The car that has been daunting me ever since a competitor has demolished my times in one of these in 5 consecutive comps. I was offered a drive. This wasn't the Cup version so it didn't have the LSD, upgraded chassis and better dampers but still it handles (and it's hard for me to say this) better than the M3. 310bhp going through the front wheels on a fast 3rd gear corner and you can't even feel it. It's as flat as can be through the corners, steering feels mighty responsive, throttle less so. Amazing car when you think it's completely stock, has satnav, AC, a passenger seat, rear seats and lots of other things my car doesn't have. Pashley26
What is amazing is how far FWD cars have come along in the last 10 years.

Luke Rainbird
Is this the world's gayest game of spot the difference? Edit; Seeing your shite paintwork bead like that reminds me how badly the Leon needs a fresh coat of wax!

LukasMcNeal
I did actually notice that I thought it was just due to the reflections from the different angles of the photos. Most boring game of spot the difference ever

Skoze
The only expensive/ rare as absolute f**k part of the land rover dash has been snapped off in the yard. f**king fuming, can't trust anyone.

Skoze
Not sure what's happened yet! I think my mate was gonna try and fix/ replace it before i came and got the truck, but i'm going to get it tomorrow and he just fessed up what'd happened. basically it sounds like the ignition/ light switch has been broken - only 3 or 4 people have access to the yard and the land rover's had no reason to be moved. I hope it's 2 of the guys who have a bit of a grudge against my mate trying to get one up on him, and not someone trying to have it away. Needless to say i'm gonna go straight there when i get back today!
Pashley26
This yard sounds messy. A lad at my dads had his fingers broken because he took a radio out of a scrap car without asking. If somebody did anything like that at my dads they would get ruined; literally their entire unit would be emptied out and left in the road. We left my Ford Pop up there with the keys in it for over three months, everybody keeps the keys to their unit in the sun visor of one of their cars. We all chipped in a few years ago to build a gate and razor fence, so you could never get a car in or out. They all chip in for the health, feeding and costs of a guard dog as well who lives up there. He has the best dogs life ever, you never need to exercise or walk him because he is always chasing people down the road trying to kill them haha. That said, that f**king sucks. I know how hard it is to get replacement glasses and bakolite parts for S1/2's.

Pashley26
Jacquard trim S2 coupe seats; very rare. My old 80 Avant had the same seats but in a 5 door avant version, they look lovely. Edited June 14, 2013 by Pashley26

CurtisRider
I am currently borrowing a 56 plate MK5 golf 1.6 Match and apart from being one of the dullest cars in the world to drive it also has an issue I would like some advice on. Whilst idling (once it is warm) the car does an occasional shake/judder as if the engine is misfiring occasionally. This issue has no noticeable pattern, and only causes a slight judder but enough to be highly irritating. My Bluetooth scanner thing using Torque shows no fault codes. My initial thoughts have been a spark plug/coil pack issue causing a misfire, or a fuel starvation issue? Not really sure what to start with on modern petrol's, they aren't my kind of thing. The car shows no signs of issues once you start moving, apart from being pretty slow although that's just down to being totally under powered Any help would be greatly appreciated
Tom Booth
There is no fault Paul, nearly all diesels vws of that generation do it. When I bought my bus I thought it was a flywheel issue but turns out they nearly all do it. This has been backed up by a vag mechanic I know of. george_seamons
Its a petrol Tom Paul, I found the torque app doesn't pick up on a lot of vw specific codes, so there could be something there, but you just can't see it.
CurtisRider
Yeah this is petrol, never experience the lumping with a diesel personally! Torque was great with my Saab, however I know its not exactly the best tool for the job. I need a copy of VAG Com if anybody could PM me with details as to how to obtain it for free I have the usb cable and coms thingy, just not the software. On a side note, I literally cannot wait to get started on putting my T25 Doka on the road when I get back home! Being car-less and needing a truck for the summer as i'm doing a load of building work for my parents, this is the perfect excuse to get it road worthy. The outside is tatty (thats putting it nicely) and needs £150-£300 of panels (depending on how many I make myself, and I already have a few ready), underneath was fine last year when I checked (its in dry storage so I cant imagine it'll have changed at all) and I have fresh brake parts sitting ready for it so that it stops nicely. Plan is to do the minimal effort to make it road worthy (and of course safe) then sort out the less important parts as I go along. I have so many ideas for this thing, best £80 I ever spent haha
