george_seamons
The drop links are right, yes, but the bush is the wrong size...you want 19mm. Remember you need a 20mm spacer (and a longer bolt) to push the drop links out to the correct angle.

Greetings
Got some pics. I really need to fix the right side of that car. Asked for the dent to be sorted, rear bumper can probably stay that way, front one needs to be glued back together... Things are constantly falling off this car, looks nothing like it used to. I'm sure I can paint most of the stuff myself though. We're starting a team, 4 drivers in 3 classes. Might help get some sponsorship next year or at least take things a step further.

Jolfa
Washed my car (with the gritty bucket of water and a hose pipe method if you're interested, Jardo) and took some pics Next jobs - paint rear bumper, and I've got some US spec rear lights to go on, but they're not a straight fit so I've got to work on that. For reference, US rear lights -
Pashley26
Did you take any pictures after you'd cleaned it?
Jolfa
I'll take some "befores" next time Or maybe some proper gayboy pictures of myself in reflections after and a full run down of every product used and the way I used it. Jeez.

george_seamons
Got caught up in a race with an Evo 6 and an Evo 8. Came out triumphant, much to their disgust! Winner
Pete.M
Liking the Audi. This thread can never have enough boxy 90's metal. Not sure if I posted pics since it was lowered, and yes I realise it doesn't look lowered at all. I remember some discussion about gawky rear ends many pages back, Beat this! I have no idea why Volvo decided to put that bend in the exhaust.
RobinJI
I popped up to Combe today to watch the action day up there. Good day and some fun looking stuff out on track. I took a load of pictures but most were crap thanks to a 'who can pan with the slowest shutter speed' competition. We got down to 1/8th of a second, shooting at about 100mm with no stabilising, many crap photos in the process though! The bonus being I'm now consistant at ~50/60th, where as I used to only dare try 150ish. Of to Wiscombe to watch the hillclimb there tomorrow, so I'll probably sort all the photos and stick them up at once. Pete, the Volvo looks good. Needs more lows though Jolfa, the Audi looks awesome too, looks perfectly clean to me! Then again my car cleaning method is basically a bucket, a sponge and some cheap 'car shampoo' stuff. I've given up on any real attempts as my car's about 15 different shades of white, so even when done properly it stills looks crap, plus the paints starting to polish through in places. Ah well, it's fun to drive and 99.9% of people who see it will never notice!

If you look closely you'll notice the bumpers have had zero treatment and I only blasted the wheels with a jet wash briefly, no product applied to either area I'll do you a proper build thread style write up next week Edited April 28, 2013 by Jolfa

JD™
In 'I washed my car but not as well as Jardo would have' news... So much work to do on this... Luckily now I have some of the stuff I need to get it straightened up a bit.
