AdamR28
Looks sweet that! Dunno if it's the pics but the wheels look a bit 'blue' for my tastes.
Luke Rainbird
Pictures have come out well, nice one Jardo. Thanks again for your help this morning too Wheel colour is growing on me, but still not completely sold. It is a tad blue, yeah. George - That's almost tempting. Redirect those Cupra parts you just ordered and we'll talk Just got home from having the tracking done too so that's another box ticked. £26 for a full check and adjust plus a particularly nice cuppa and some friendly faces; Very impressed.

RobinJI
Adam, was that at Combe on Monday? My old college was there, who's Radical my work sponsor (white black and orange) and so was the Nemesis the front end I posted a little while back was destined for (black and green.) Unfortunately I don't have Sky, otherwise I'd love to tune in and watch that.
Prawny Baby
No Robin, I think Adam is racing at Donington Park this weekend. I'll be setting my Sky!Bird: car looks ace man. Impressed. Is it mapped yet? if not, why

RobinJI
Ahh.. that makes more sense, didn't think it was live for some reason, and I remembered my boss saying I'd have liked the MX-5 racing the last Monday at Combe. Good luck with the race! Also yeah, Rainbirds car looks awesome like that, well done. Edited April 4, 2013 by RobinJI

LiamWood!
I'm having a bit of a dilemma. Since my ball joint snapped at the weekend I've sort of lost faith in my civic. It has a few niggly problems but I have a donor turbo engine so do I buy another civic but a vti and have a bit of vtec before I do the swap. Or do I just keep my 1.4 and swap that and sort the problems out?
haydon_peter
This morning I had to attend a medical assessment as part of my insurance claim. That was one of the biggest jokes I have ever experienced. I had previously filled out an on-line assessment which the 'doctor' (I'm sure he was fully qualified but I found it hard to think of the guy as a doctor) then went through filling out additional notes. He asked me to turn my neck left, right, up and down, then got me to bend over and try to touch my toes, every time I did a stretch he commented with "oh your muscles do look tight and painful" and he ticked more boxes on the screen. He asked me brief questions about what physio I had been given and advised me I should not be doing any sport. After all of 5 minutes he said he is going to put down that I require 4 months recovery and said that was it. I had to do a 26 mile round trip on public transport and take most of the morning off work for that bullshit. It just all seemed like one big money making scam, although saying that I'm not sure I should be complaining
AdamR28
That does sound like bullshit, and the 'ohh your muscles look painful' bit reminded me of the Mr Kennedy from The Inbetweeners. Thanks for putting my insurance premiums up (Nah, seriously, you are NOT one of the people I blame for that!) Muel
Whhhaaaaaatttt... That's awesome! I remember chatting to you about that car several times over the last few years. Any chance of tracking the original down and restoring it?
Skoze
I know where the original is, unfortunately for me it's in a very loving home and will be staying there for the considerable future i think I'll chat tot he guy though and see if i could persuade him to let it go, i know it's not been on the road for a very long time (but is still awfully well looked after!) Greetings
I weighed some wheels out of interest today and was quite shocked. Not only is the lower wheel 8,5kgs lighter, it offes a lot better traction. The wheel weight to car weight conversion is about 3-4x, so this set would be equivalent to shaving 100-130kg off the car. Hope I'll get to try these tomorrow, would need at least 7C which isn't impossible, but unlikely. Also got the car "fixed" as cheaply as possible, it doesn't show too much that it had a few bumps on the last comp.
