Pashley26
Maybe you will, maybe you won't. However you've got to admire my dedication to buying cars haha. This Mk2 is down your way, so I might come in for an Orangina once I am done.
TROYston
But you wont, i am calling bull shit on this because you wouldn't change your Audi for anything.
Luke Rainbird
Yeah he would. He'd be an idiot to, with some of the cars he's considered, but he certainly would change it if the right car* came along.*Flavour of the month
Jolfa
you've got to admire my dedication to buying cars haha. You haven't bought a car in months, amateur, I've had 3 or 4 in the time you've had the best Audi ever made
haydon_peter
I'm going to view a Ferrari Enzo later today, I think it will be an ideal replacement for the Leon.
Pashley26
Should be a good idea, the brakes on Enzo's are immense

Luke Rainbird
Need to raise the car a tad now things seem to have settled in. Currently sitting at around a 50mm drop front, 55mm rear so going to level it out to in the region of 40mm both ends and that should put things about where they need to be. Is there a knack to adjusting these things, or simply jack it up with wheels off for access and get some brute force on those adjusters? Greasing everything right up while I'm there too as I totally forgot to do it before fitting Guessing spring compressors would make life easier but as I don't have any that's effort (not that turning adjusters under spring tension won't be, mind!) Tom Booth
They'll bearly be any tension rbird, once the adjusters are separated you should be able to do it by hand. I put moly grease on my FK's and there still mega easy to adjust.
Pashley26
Pretty much as you have said. No need for spring compressors really

Luke Rainbird
Nice one, cheers dude. Gonna slack off shortly so will have a bash this afternoon. Shame the lockring spanner they provided is only around 4" long! Shall try and find something to add a little leverage I think.
Tom Booth
I wouldn't, you'll struggle to fit anything bigger in there... (Insert apt mum/that's what she said gag)
Pashley26
A solid spanner is what you need, I have one. So much wrong with this string of posts...
Tom Booth
Where'd you find a solid one jardo? Mines abit cheesy and soft, starting to loose its shape already
Luke Rainbird
Ah fun times. Guessing you're working all day today, J-Rod? Will have a bash with my tool but I think it may be a little small and not so rigid so if I have no joy I may pinch yours instead.
Pashley26
I have (in Basingstoke) the best C spanner known to man. It is a 2" long C spanner with a 3/8th end on it so you can get a small ratchet or bar on it. I will bring it home for future use. Solid spanner came with my E36 coilovers. They can be purchased on eBay for £3.
george_seamons
Pussys. Big flat-head screwdriver and a hammer is all that's needed.
Luke Rainbird
Having actually thought about this, I may well have a solid spanner out at mum and dad's place. Shall pop out there and have a look I think as that'd make life a shitload easier for starters! Ratchet bar sounds like a pretty good idea though
haydon_peter
The Enzo wasn't for me. I didn't like it, there was nowhere to put my bike and I was very disappointed with the power of the brakes.
Tom Booth
Thought about trying a prius tic? There very similar and I can see how you'd go from an enzo to a prius to be honest...
