Pashley26
Why no sell the Audi then? Too many doors, and my car is only a set of brakes, hubs and lower arms off being the same as an LCR underneath anyway. If my car was standard and lovely like Tic's I would go straight to an LCR, rather than pissing about making a poor chassis good when the LCR is already a huge step up. - How are you feeling today Ticcy? haydon_peter
f**king painful and stiff. It's all logged with my insurers, going to doctors now then going to car later to get a few things out.
Prawny Baby
Too many doors, and my car is only a set of brakes, hubs and lower arms off being the same as an LCR underneath anyway. And a steering rack, and a ko4 turbo, and a 6 speed box (questionable) you're basically missing everything that makes the LCR better than an A3
george_seamons
Too many doors' date=' and my car is only a set of brakes, hubs and lower arms off being the same as an LCR underneath anyway[/quote'] ...and rear beam, rear brakes, turbo, injectors, MAF, suspension, anti roll bar, steering rack etc etc. Might be worth filing for whiplash if you genuinely are in that much pain dude. When I was passenger in a 306 that was in a head on, I was off work for a month with really bad whiplash and concussion, ended up with £4500 (although a lot of that was lost earnings). Not one for FALSE claims, but if you are genuinely in pain (which looking at the pictures, I should think you are achingly very badly!), you are more than entitled to it!

Pashley26
I would argue about how all of my stock K03 components made more power than a stock LCR did; and that all I'm actually missing from that oh so vast list of yours and my list is the ARB (which I wouldn't use in an ideal world anyway.) But I'm not going to argue with you pair of fannys when we should be worrying about how Tic is going to be able to afford an LCR and how much his claim is worth. I for 3 grand for being knocked off my bicycle; Ticcy will be able to get an LCR for sure. Edited February 28, 2013 by Pashley26
Danny
I can insure a LCR for £50 cheaper than a LC
Pashley26
Go buy one!
george_seamons
My old next door neighbour is on the lookout for an LCR after being so impressed with mine. What you can get nowadays for around £3k is scary compared to what I paid for mine a few weeks before they plummeted in price!
Danny
They start at about 3.5k in my area. Wheres all the pictures of yours george?
george_seamons
Been a busy boy, will try and get some. Got Ultimate Dubs next weekend, so should be nice and clean, and picture worthy!

Prawny Baby
and that all I'm actually missing from that oh so vast list of yours and my list is the ARB (which I wouldn't use in an ideal world anyway.) really? and rear beam, rear brakes, turbo, injectors, MAF, suspension, anti roll bar, steering rack etc et you don't have a single one of these things..... so you're kind of missing all of it Looooooooooong way off LCR spec at the moment boyo, lots to be improved. lots indeed. george_seamons
Its about the only decent "static" show (I.e not any Santa Pod, or trackside show). Bit of a trek for me, but I've been the last few years, and its a bit of a tradition. Plus, being the first show of the year, there's plenty of decent motors. Pashley26
really? you don't have a single one of these things..... so you're kind of missing all of it Looooooooooong way off LCR spec at the moment boyo, lots to be improved. lots indeed. Take Danny (for instance) and put him in my car, then an LCR. The only things the un-trained driver will ever notice are the slightly shorter rack, the brakes and mine being faster. Rear beam makes no difference when they all have shot bushes, anybody who claims to be able to feel the difference of the rear brakes on the road is a fanny, and who cares about the injectors, maf, turbo, mani's etc when mine is much faster than a stock LCR anyway? You know the differences, Seamons knows the differences and quite importantly I know all the differences. Nobody else will be able to pick up on them. Prawny Baby
Surely people care when a £250 remap on a stock Lcr makes it faster than yours again On another note: can anyone lend me a quid? I could do with some chips to go with this massive fish I just caught
Pashley26
At least mine gets driven...
Luke Rainbird
Glad that insurance seems viable, Ticcy. Not so much about feeling rough though Of course! If you get the car back, an those mirrors should happen to have fallen off, let me know
george_seamons
You can't compare your car with a standard LCR, that's not fair lol. Compare the two standard, then the two at the same "stage" of tune, and then see which is preferred...although its fairly obvious (hence sacking off my a3 the second I drove the LCR)
Pashley26
I love LCR's, if I hadn't thrown every penny at the A3 and if they did a 3 door I'd get one for sure.
Prawny Baby
At least mine gets driven... You say this, but mine done more miles in the last 2 years than yours has in the last 4 years or so..... Go figure
george_seamons
That is the only downfall of the LCR, its such an aggressive looking car, specifically aimed at being sporty, yet there wasn't a 3 door option. Retarded!
Prawny Baby
and since september, we've done the same amount of miles too
