Luke Rainbird
He's off to R-Tech for the day today, so this is merely the calm before the storm...

george_seamons
Cue posts about how amazing Niki at R-Tech is, and how the world's most awesome car is now even more awesome, and will now beat anything ever made! Plus some Phil Miller bumming (who 99% of people won't even have heard of). ...sure it will be a fantastic read though.

george_seamons
...plus he'll probably tell me how my car is so shit because I didn't go to R-Tech, even though I'd still dick him

Meanwhile I have done the opposite, and just bought some standard ride height suspension
MadManMike
Meanwhile I have done the opposite, and just bought some standard ride height suspension I'm only going 40mm lower, didn't want rock hard suspension as I do a lot of miles, but I want it a little firmer
Wrayvon
I'm only going 40mm lower, didn't want rock hard suspension as I do a lot of miles, but I want it a little firmer That's partly the reason I'm going up. The other part is my coilovers are leaking so not very good at absorbing bumps...ouch EDIT Can't spell Edited January 31, 2013 by Wrayvon
Dan6061
Pshh... I've done 10k miles per year of owning my car, and I had it at standard height for a week before I slammed it.
MadManMike
I've done 10k in six months. I reckon I could deal with it, but the mrs will grumble I'd imagine. 40mm is a good compromise I think, stiffer, but not back-breakingly stiff
CurtisRider
My lass moans like hell, and even more with -35mm It is pretty uncomfortable to be fair
Wrayvon
Mine was pretty much as low as it would go, but slowly over the past year or so I've had to raise it as they were absorbing less and bottoming out more.
MadManMike
My mates Civic Shuttle is lowered 60mm and is rock hard. Pretty cool, but I'd hate to drive it all the time! (Then again he has about 9 cars to choose from )
AndrewEH1
I heard you guys like cars, how about some classic metal? Went to the Glasgow start of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique last weekend, finally uploaded all the of the better photos, full set is here Some of my favourite ones below...a little picture heavy so sorry for that. The Ford Escort RS1800 had to be the cleanest car I've ever seen, even the boot with spare + tools was immaculate. dann2707
Don't apologise for posting good stuff!! It's way better than Jardo bashing despite how fun that is. I like your watermark too, it's just, right. Lovely pics
Luke Rainbird
Meh, Jardo bashing is fun but he does occasionally post some genuinely interesting stuff. Few and far between and you've got to sift through the crap, but yeah

You guys should have noticed from the 'Stratos' numberplate that it is actually a replica. The one that was actually on Top Gear. Still lovely, and I'll probably never see a real Stratos as they are that rare.

I've been fortunate to have been in a Stratos at a show. LOVE them.
