Skoze
That awkward moment when your girlfriend's mum drives straight over the front of your sister's car.
Mark W
"Pics or it didn't happen" is also applicable in this situation, rather than being reserved exclusively for quality assurance on Dann∞'s conquests.
isitafox
Finally replaced the passenger door lock module on my golf today and found that one of the window regulator clips has snapped. Safe to say it'll be staying that way as stripping the door is a pain in the arse!
dann2707
Today I fitted some bumper catches, I love the look of them and didn't know if they were going to look good on mine but I'm really happy with how it's turned out. A bit sceney but we've all got to put our own spin on things Took some random pics of the car too as you do. 20150817_181506_HDR by dann2707, on Flickr 20150817_181237 by dann2707, on Flickr 20150817_181220 by dann2707, on Flickr 20150817_181331_HDR by dann2707, on Flickr 20150817_181254 by dann2707, on Flickr 20150817_181215 by dann2707, on Flickr
Mark W
This might sound stupid, but what's the point in those?
dann2707
Not at all man, I think it's to hold the bumper on as when you go so low you pretty much remove the bumper brackets so essentially it's the wing holding the bumper to the car. And it acts as a quick release too, because i'm always taking my bumper off 9I'm really really not haha) In all honesty I fitted them cos I think they look good. I know many others won't agree with me.
CurtisRider
If you had stickers and stuff all over the place or some sort of dodgy home made splitter they would probably fit in well, but with your car looking so pristine and polished they just stand out too much as a weird thing you have whacked on If they were body colour they may look better as they wouldn't stand out as much

Luke Rainbird
If they're not functional then having them on there is f**king retarded, but I like them visually
Haz
Can't believe you don't like Aerocatched bumpers but like them.
dann2707
I love aerocatches?? I just don't like 12 of them at once
Jolfa
You've got to that point with your car where you've ran out of things to do so you start going backwards by sticking random "racecar" shit to it... They are a terrible addition to an otherwise very clean road car. ...and on my phone I still had to stretch the picture to spot the difference despite knowing what I was looking for
dann2707
Well let's face it we all knew it wasn't going to be a positive comment from you now

Wrayvon
Can't actually understand why anyone would fit them really especially if it's just for aesthetic reasons. Sorry, Dan!
Prawny Baby
I'm assuming all other methods of bumper fixings are gone and its held in solely by those?

Ash-Kennard
Have you driven one mate? Nah mate, do want to at some point though. I like the catches for the bumper. It would be cool to go that route on the leon, because that front bumper will always need removing and is a massive pain to get back on.
Danny
You are correct sir!So its only held on by 2 elastic bands? Does it not flap about at speed?
dann2707
It usually falls off so I just stick it in the boot.
CurtisRider
I think you need more elastic bands dan
Tony Harrison
Eventually every major panel will be held on by elastic bands and the vehicle will be able to accommodate even the most ambitious landwhale.
