Tony Harrison
HMRC once had to fax (yes, FAX) me a number so that I could write it into a form and send it back to them the same day. They wouldn't tell me the number over the phone, and if they mailed it I would've missed the deadline.
Rowlly21
Got an induction kit fitted up this week . Not entirely happy with the position of the cone but it will do for now Edited June 22, 2015 by Rowlly21
Joe Sheehan
Shadowline'd/plastidipped my window trims on the car. I hate chrome. Loving derv life though! Been averaging 47 around town, and it still doesn't get beaten by my friends Megane's/CTR's etc! Taking it to St Tropez with some friends in August to my friends villa. Gonna try to do it from Calais on one tank just because! Find me a car that does all this and is as comfy and well specced for sub £2k. dann2707
All rounder car but what a f**king horrendous colour.
MadManMike
That's not a bad colour, you seen those terrible washed out / baby shit green BMW's? They're rare and absolutely horrendous.
Joe Sheehan
Rare for a reason, just like this! The colour isn't that bad in person but it's definitely not the reason I bought the car. Would've rather an imola red one or black again. Just so happens a friend was selling this and it was already mapped etc so was a no brainer! Skoze
The actual highlights only last for the first 10mins, the second 10mins is the equivalent of winning a cup on MarioKart and having to go through a f**k-off long podium cut scene. Things I learned from that post; 1. Those LMP-1 cars are insane 2. 4:25 - wat r u doin 3. The Corvettes sound unreal, did they go for 50s gasser zoomies when it came to exhaust choice? 4. that Mario comparison
Luke Rainbird
I dream of 47mpg. Got just over 38mpg on the run to base today after being caught up in a jam around Bridport for over an hour.God dammit - thought I'd get at least one response after including before/after/mpg/cleaning for Dann, track stuff for Ads, Prawn/Mannings car etc

Joe Sheehan
On a run my obc thinks it's high 60's.. Not so sure about it! Also, anyone see that CTR driving badly at brands? https://instagram.com/p/4MMt6AHh4d/

The Corvettes sound unreal, did they go for 50s gasser zoomies when it came to exhaust choice? 4. that Mario comparison What impressed me about the LMP1 cars was how resilient they are. Those Audis got f**ked up but still managed to carry on and finish alright. I guess a lot of the 'damage' was largely going to be cosmetic (aside from the loss of downforce/increase in drag obviously) as the arches/pods are just big shells effectively, but still - those mechanics weren't f**king around. JD™
Heading down towards the pit area at 3am was probably the best decision of my weekend at Le Mans, the sheer pace they work at is insane.
Mark W
How much of it do you think is down to the "hot potato" aspect of having to work on a car that's been running at maximum temperature for the past 12 or so hours?

JD™
In actual car news, found the other day that the inside shoulder of one of my tyres is down to the threads. Oops. So it's finally time to take the plunge on some Eagle F1s and put my other wheels on. It's going to be interesting to see if they fit – it'll be a pretty colossal waste of £550 on tyres, and plenty of time refurbing them, if they don't... Booked in tomorrow morning, so you can all look forward to a good laugh in the afternoon

monkeyseemonkeydo
D'oh. Astra had to be towed home from Evesham on Sunday and best guess from local garage is that it needs a new clutch, DMF and gearbox/diff. Think I'll be after a new car then... CurtisRider
Not a terribly hard job to do yourself, I did mine by myself over a few evenings (1.9CDTI Astra H)
MadManMike
Just sourced a brand new 4-2-1 stainless manifold for £50. Waiting to hear if it's the right length for my car, fingers crossed it is!
