The Car Thread

The Micras been acting weirdly recently. Increasingly lumpy idle and will cut out on its own occasionally. It was serviced 6 months ago when I bought it and had another oil change at the beginning of the month.

It's had plugs but I've noticed it smokes a little in a morning or after a long run.

As much as I'd love to, its very cheap to run and uber reliable, which at present suits my situation down to the ground. To say it's done nigh on 110k and have less than £400 in it I can't argue.

I think I have a coil pack on its way out.

fitted a set of standard links i had floating about, jacked the car up and this happened:

WHY make suspension parts out of PLASTIC?!?!?!?

Stripped, cleaned and re-greased my coilovers:

And im going to personally hunt down and kick in the balls whoever designed this. the trunking for the fuel pipes. Dropped a socket down there, took the header tank out the way, got the socket out with a magnet, then dropped the screw for the header tank down there!
