Pete.M
Is it? How much is everyone else paying? Age, car and ncb please? 23, Volvo 940, 3 years ncb, £365 fully comp To be fair that price was significantly lower than any other so I think I got lucky, and I have it registered at my parents address which is a very low crime area. (Don't hate me, I know I should get it changed) In Volvo news, I now only have a downpipe for an exhaust, and a broken one at that. I've bought some sections to try and build my own system. Fingers crossed it fits/works.
craigjames
28, A3 1.8T, 9 years no claims, £380 fully comp (unlimited mods up to 280BHP (no chance of getting there!)).
bing
Thanks. I am pretty great at looking different. Most people don't know what I even look like, it's hilarious. You look like a younger version of plan b after he's had about 10 pints Edited September 8, 2014 by bing
Wrayvon
25 Seat Ibiza 1.9 tdi 130. 4 years no claims, £359 fully comp (weirdly that was a 1 off, rest of my quotes were 450+).
AdamR28
Yep, £595 is very cheap for a 1*2 at your age and driving experience. I pay £136 on one car and £148 on the other
Azarathal
Currently I'm paying £750 for my mr2 with just under 4 years experiance and one years no claims. Not bad considering my 1.4 city rover cost £1200 a few months before
LiamWood!
You must be one unlucky guy Very, I was rear ended on the way to work one morning by someone speeding and not paying attention, then someone pulled out on me, causing me to crash but they left before the rozzers arrived so the wasent traced and then a police van reversed into my car whilst it was parked outside my girlfriends. Duncy H
£450, 3 years ncb, 20 years of age, Mx5 eunos 1.6. Fairly chuffed with that. Hopefully get the suspension finished tomorrow, been away for a long weekend and left one of the shocks with someone to have a thread recut properly cause it was gash. Prawny Baby
Sounds about right. You're young, with a powerful young lads car. £600 sounds perfectly reasonable at 22!Ohps. Missed the next page. Haha. I was replying to dan
forteh
My renewal came through recently, 240 odd quid fully comp, mk1 focus 1.8 tdci lx, 9 years ncb, clean license. However paying it over installments puts it up to
MadManMike
The hairdresser comments are getting a little boring already. People that say it and actually mean it just make clear their stupidity. And when they say it and laugh like it's never been said before. f**k off. Prawny Baby
Surely you knew to expect all that before hand? It comes with the territory sadly, you've just got to embrace it! if I had an MX5, I think I'd keep set of hair straighteners and some scissors in the boot, just to pull out to silence the jokers when they ask for a haircut
MadManMike
The thing is: a ) It's not funny. b ) It gets old, very quickly. I'm going to bring my clippers to work tomorrow and the first person to make the joke is getting a go-faster stripe done. MadManMike
I wouldn't trust half these morons to tie their shoe laces, so they're definitely not driving my car
Danny
I pay about ~£320 on the mini and ~£500 on the focus st. I'm an old man 29 with 7 years no claims but my postcode is poo. I wouldn't trust half these morons to tie their shoe laces, so they're definitely not driving my car What are the plans for it anyway? Does it need anything 'fixing up' ? MadManMike
There's really not much that needs doing. I'm replacing all oils and fluids, all the filters, fixing the heatshield back on because it's rattling on the exhaust at certain revs. New speakers should turn up today / tomorrow but they're an easy fit, gotta fit the new stereo at the same time. Other than that, it's pretty tidy - going to get some nicer wheels at some point, but it already has sticky rubber on so there's no rush
AdamR28
Pull the heatshield off, it will always rattle and piss you off. Which tyres are on it?

Jake.
What salon do you work at now then? Haha I kid, I second Adam. I took my heatshield off, was just being annoying.
