TOMTRIALS123
Worth a shot even as a mock up engine for test fitting? Might be useful as spares I guess? Haven't got the space/time to start the 1.8T project yet as i'm doing up the house but at that price I guess it can sit outside waiting for when i'm ready... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-1-8T-ENGINE-SPARES-OR-REPAIR-/271532828929?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f389e2901 Na, man, this is what u need: http://www.motorsport-sales.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=320&products_id=4538 DTM Fresh 2.5 (That's only if u have a spare 19k euros)

JD™
Garage ended up ordering the parts I would have ordered rather than their BMW stuff for the Mini, meaning I don't have to bother and they only charge labour - very handy. Also, they've had a pre-mot look at it and said it'll pass no problem, which means I get to buy a new exhaust for mine. Nice, because it's loud as f**k at the moment

JD™
It's been said before, it'll be said again. Insurance companies are ridiculous. Admiral gave me a renewal quote of £719. Generic Comparison sites were giving me figures around £375 – enough of a saving for me to not even be arsed with going round calling up. Call Admiral to cancel: Ad: "And why would you like to cancel sir?" Me: "Because you're nearly twice as expensive as your competitors" Ad: "Well, I'm sure we can work on a price to beat them" Me: "Even if you can, I'm not interested because that means you didn't give your best price and tried to rip me off for double what I could have paid" Ad: "OK, well can I confirm you're using the same details on those other quotes" Me: "Yes" Ad: "Right. Just so you know, I could have got your price down to £579 today. It's a shame you don't want to take that up." Don't want to take up a price that's still 50odd% higher than the best quote. Yes, real shame. Still, sorted now. In other news, I thought I only had 3 years NCB for some reason. Turns out I have 5, which is nice
Pashley26
I've had a couple of emails off the back of Robs Evo. Got a 575 Maranello to do next week. An M3 for next month and a Subaru for whenever I can fit it in. Cheers easy.
dann2707
Snipperoo Mate, that is so funny as I had a similar experience the other day but with Orange. Contract came to an end so Orange rang me and I told them i'm not staying with them as I get all this stuff for £12. So they said as a kind gesture they're going to give me a similar offer. Great I thought this will save me hassle. They offer me LESS shit but for £16 a month hahahahah and say they hope that will keep me with them.

Pashley26
How much would you charge for a white van?! For you? One million. Depends how big the van is, and if you just want the bodywork done or in and out?
J.KYDD
Ha, Just the bodywork on a 'proper' sized panel van. It's soon to be getting some Andrei Burton demo stickers on the sides and back doors and will be being used as one of the demo vehicles. Before I do, think it would be nice to properly clean it up first Edited July 1, 2014 by J.KYDD

Skoze
It's been said before, it'll be said again. Insurance companies are ridiculous. Agreed. Renewal for the Capri was about £700 from Flux - no thank you. Called Admiral, £360 quid. Called Flux back as I like them; 'well Mr Purdon I can get that down to £550 for you, would you like to go ahead? Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Similarly when I decided to let the Land Rover's lapse I got a renewal price of £900. Said I wanted to leave it, then got another in the post for £400. They are twats. Greetings
Lots of happy. Went to the track, did lots of driving and managed to lap the track in a time which seems to be a record for a no aero/stock engined M3. Talk about euphoria... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwnrbCu6oqI

dann2707
Sprayed my upper grill black as before it looked like this - A kind of off grey which didn't match the fog surround or lower grill as shown.

Got some rather different tyres today. Need to raise the suspension, disconnect the ARB's and off we go...
