King C
Cant remember who was asking about POR15 but I went home a couple of weeks ago and went to paint a subframe with an old tin I had. I'd left the lid off and it had been stood for maybe 18 months. Could't break the surface, I had a brick chisel and a club hammer and gave it a fair few blows, nothing. Ended up flipping the tin and piercing the bottom to get to it.
Danny
It was me. From the few tiny bits ive painted it seems like good stuff Uber hard and shiny.

Jake.
Just wondering if any of you could help me out? I've got a Honda jazz 1.1l and the radio system is the car one that's mounted into it, long story short I want to use an aux cable to listen to music through my phone as I'm getting fed up of cds... Is there a way to do it without having to get a whole new sound system/radio? I'll grab a picture or two in a bit of the setup if I'm making nonsense. I'm a complete novice with cars, I know how to drive but reading through this forum really makes me interested in learning about all the little bits haha. Jake.
Ah so that's what it's called, a head unit. Quick Google and it's this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-JAZZ-CD-RADIO-PLAYER-HEATER-AND-AC-CONTROLS-FITS-2005-2006-2007-2008-/140952729807I'm feeling it'll have to be taken out and put a new head unit in. Jake.
60 odd quid doesn't seem too bad, will probably be cheaper than all the cds! Ha! Reckon it'll be okay for a car with a steering wheel on the right hand side? As in the video it's on the left..
Skoze
LEGEND, "Heads to RR swiftly." Haha, it'll be on Pistonheads first! Might do a cross-post with RR, keep the cool kids in the know. It's properly awesome, even if it did do £120 in 300 miles...

Jake.
Toyota Yaris? Just went and got a pic of the car, nout special. The car is shared in my fam (basically a hand me down from my grandmother to my mum, and everyone is insured on it) and some student drove into the side of it ages ago, and my mum decided to spray some kind of shit on the side of the car which I really wanna sort out ha. Couldn't be arsed to open it so here's a rough pic of the head unit

Luke Rainbird
Best way to make a black car look pretty? Jardo, i need you Get on the full-scale detail over a weekend next time it's nice enough. Finished off with a decent wax to protect it, should only need lighter regular care to keep it looking tip top. In related news: Just got my hands on a tin of Collinite #915 wax. Should get the Leon looking rather tidy again and the Golf could do with some love too!
Skoze
Tasty! I might give it a full going over at some point, but the paint's a bit scruffy anyway and i'm not sure how long it'll be staying black for so don't want to spend an eternity on it. Just want to give it enough to be shiny in some photos i've got to take for pistonheads tomorrow! 'Nother photo just because new car;
