Gaz96
I know the Pro 2 trials would obviously be more suited to trials riding but how do just the regular Pro 2's hold up? Still decent enough with enough engagements for trials?

Mark W
As far as I'm aware they don't have the reinforced hub shells like Pro 2 Ts do, so that'd be my main concern really. I don't think the lack of engagements would really be ideal but having said that I rode with a Dicta freewheel for 3 years and that wasn't sooo bad
manuel
looks like the pro2 evo shell has the bulge on in the pic on the website? Id have thought that normal XC ones would have got upgraded at the same time the first pro2T did ? Also all 4 pawls engage at once for 24point engagement, rather than 2 for the 48, so should be solid as a rock. 24 used to be the number people used !! But, I guess the question is why would you want to ? if its because its slightly cheaper I would say spend the extra. If you had it already built into a suitable rim then I would consider using it. A proper proIIT has many many advantages over the XC version.
ogre
werd with what manuel said, 48ep is so good, any less feels like a violation, i've tried a bike with the original XC pro2 and it felt pretty lacking, but i'm a heavy guy and i do put a fair shunt through my gear, it depends what type of riding you plan on doing too i guess, if your gona be using alot of static moves, sidehops, pedal hops, etc then you'll be much happier with the trials dedicated one, but if you're all about rolling and flowing you could probably get away with it...
