gu trials
Ok, im probably gunna be hated for this but, before trials i did dirt jumps on a halfords 24" mtb, now after trials for a few years im tempted to get a bmx or inspired and go back to dirt jumps, only thing is i would have to sell my trials to be able to make this change. I feel that i had a lot more adrenaline doing dirt jumps and trials isnt the same any more. what would you do in this situation ? any help is appreciated thanks

eskimo
Just buy a Fourplay. I'm on an Element, and to be fair it rides pretty damn good on transition. It's no bmx, but bmxs can't sidehop. I would of thought at a major guess only 25% of my tricks can't be done on the Element and i can do like 90% of the moves i can do on the mod. Buy a bmx, and i gurantee you'll be back here in a year's time in classified.
gu trials
i dont want to get rid of trials as i enjoy it, its just not the same any more, but i want 2 do dirt jumps again as they had more adrenaline and speed and height

eskimo
As i said before Inspireds ride transition fine. Dirt is no different.
Mark W
I've ridden jumps, BMX tracks and pump tracks on my Inspired and I'd agree with Nick on that front.
Luke Rainbird
Since getting my new Inspired I've been so busy with uni stuff that I've actually ridden it more on dirt than I have on street. Twice.
Sam Nichols
My 24" is faster round the local BMX track than my DMR Sidekick. I haven't taken it to the trails yet but I'm expecting it to be awesome when I do.
CC12345678910
I'd happily give you a go on my fourplay anytime, all you had to do was ask... EDIT: Just FFS don't get a BMX!!! Edited May 15, 2012 by CC12345678910
CalRobbo341
I'm in the same posisition really.. Except I don't want to move onto a diffrent stlye of riding, currently running a brakless mod, and I dont know if I should get a new frame, forks and go dual disc, buy a new frame and stay brakeless, or go down the 24 brakeless route, currently have £150+ any bike bits I sell (booster, wheel, ect) I also ride more street with my bike atm so I was wondering about the bmx sort of route but then I dont really want to go that far as I still do trials moves. Me thinks I will go get a new frame and do more trialsy moves on it
