HippY
Hello! i just started trials and i just got stuck in the backwheel hops. i only can do 1 or 2 than somehow i just drop it. How should i learn a proper backwheel hop? Or what could i do bad? My biggest problem is that there is only the internet who can help me at the moment, there are no riders near me :/

ooo
When I was learning I got stuck on 3-4 hops because I didn't have my balance down, spend more time on track stands, hopping and rocking and narrow lines. If you are dropping the front its just because you aren't leaning back enough; try standing up straighter. Also remember the hops have a purpose and are used for correcting balance or to adjust position. Edited May 6, 2012 by ooo

pkb4112
I also made a little tutorial video that might help you. I just made one on pedal kicks too if you make it to that step soon. Hopefully this helps a little bit.
Ben Gosden
Usually when begginers are learning they dont lift the front wheel high enough so thats a tip that could help, also dont worry about jumping back wards for you first few becouse this is normall you will learn to stop this through practise and pedal kicking. Here this is a link that helped me as i also didnt have any fellow trials riders: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRLi1U61u4g I also think that you shouldnt spend the whole of your time attempting these you should do a few then move on to another technique and then go back to them, this helped me avoid picking up bad habits.
