the mysterious leemur
Well in the last few days something on the front of my bike has been making quite a loud creaking noise . When I pull the brake and when I put weight onto the forks . There is also a small amount of creak when twisting the bars side to side . I take it this means they are near snapping ? If it helps they are Echo SL diskk forks which I have heard are quite bad for this
liam n
my echo lite forks where creaking for ages, then they cracked just above the disc mount, new forks solved this could be your headset, forks, brake leave, brake.
TrialsIsHard
Could be headset? I remember having this with my Limey, loosened the stem and had a play with the tension of the star nut and it stopped.. Probably my poor bike maintenance there, but worth a try
aener
Just to throw another option out there, I had a creak fitting this description for a while, and then snapped both ends off my front axle. You can enjoy that thought whilst riding around
