1337 Trials
Hello. I need new pads for my avid juicy 3 and it also needs a new re-bleed. It is quite an old brake and I may as well pay out and buy a new rear brake which will come with pads / won't need a new rebleed. Is there any where I can buy a rear disc brake without the rotor as I do not need a new rotor and it seems a waste of money to buy another. Thanks
How Original
Makes more sense to just buy some hydraulic fluid and pads doesn't it? Pads are about £8 and hydraulic fluid is about £3, both delivered off eBay... If the brake still works, no point chucking out a working brake. 1337 Trials
Well its an old avid 3 and the bolts are starting to go rusty and when I swapped the pads (used some part warns off my mate to keep me going) it was starting to rust around the pistons. How Original
Bit of rust is only superficial. As long as it's still actually working... Failing that buy another Avid, and use that one as spares or something. Seems a shame to waste a nice brake.
